Review of Vasanta College for Women, Varanasi

Overall Rating
Vasanta college for women is an affiliated college of BHU. It is the best college. The college environment is green and peaceful. There are so many facilities like library, well behaved professors, good staff, canteen, etc.
 

Academics Rating
In this college, there are not many courses available. The only available programmes are BA, B.Com, B.Ed, MA, and Ph.D. Admission process is simple; students just need to take the CUET exam and qualify the cutoff, then according to the counselling process they get the college.
 

Faculty Rating
There are different faculties available according to the different courses. Faculty members are nice, helpful, and well behaved. Professors’ teaching skill is so nice.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell organises events time to time but there are no placements. I think there is need for improvement there.
 

Hostel Rating
The college hostel ‘Vastaashram’ is very nice. The environment is green and peaceful. The hostel is well disciplined with healthy and delicious food facilities, Wi-Fi facility, gym facility, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Overall, the college looks beautiful. The college walls are painted white with grey borders. The college is situated on a bank of river Ganga. The view is so nice.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very nice. Classes take place daily and students come to college daily. College organises a fest named "Varshamangalam", it's celebrated very nicely every year in the month of August. There are fresher’s and farewell events for students

    The main reason for selecting this college is because it is affiliated with one of the most reputed central universities named Banaras Hindu University. Campus is full of greenery and this college is very close to nature; especially during spring, it has a mesmerizing view. They provide good and quality education here.
