Bioinformatics in BJB Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar

Overall Rating
I applied for the course after knowing about bioinformatics during Corona pandemic time and applied for it in this college. This college is a well known government college in Odisha, one of the top colleges. After knowing about the course availability in the college, I applied for the course. Also the faculty members helped to clear the doubts about the course during admission.
 

Academics Rating
Bioinformatics is one of the most underrated courses in India, though its demand is increasing day by day after the corona pandemic. To apply for this specific course, the requirement is minimum passing marks of 55% in +2 board exam and you must have biology as compulsory subject in +2. After application, candidates were selected through marks in +2, but now it is an entrance based selection.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty teachers are great, mostly very friendly and knowledgeable people that make us understand the subject in a really easy way. I’ve had the privilege of learning from some of the most dedicated and knowledgeable professors in their respective fields. 2 of the junior lecturers have done their PG in bioinformatics and the HOD has done his Ph.D.
 

Placement Rating
Thrilled with my college's placement support. Excellent career counseling, strong industry connections, and mock interviews boosted my confidence. I am grateful for the opportunities. Highly recommend.
 

Hostel Rating
There are clean rooms, friendly staff, and great amenities. The sense of community made it feel like home. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and extensive library resources. Facilities like gym and cafeteria add to the convenience. Overall, a conducive environment for learning and growth. Also the computer lab and research and practical rooms were really great. There is lift available.
 

Campus Rating
There are diverse clubs, cultural events, and sports activities that foster a sense of belongingness. Friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings make every day memorable. Rather than that, I made some really great friends who will keep me company throughout the years. Also, the different clubs made us confident. Also we get to learn new things.

It has many branches of courses and fine faculties that provide well study and give their full support to the students for their studies and solve their doubts separately and properly.     Overall, the college is good. Experiences which I got from the college are amazing.     Overall Rating
    Overall BJB college is a best choice in Bhubaneswar. It is one of the well known colleges in Odisha. Here a student gets chance to actively involved in any area in which is he or she prefer. I am Suman Kumar got 82.8% in 12th class and yet I got selected in 3rd phase. The competition is high. My overall experience in BJB college is quite joyful and I preferred sports in extracurricular activity.     Overall Buxi Jagabandhu College is a good college. Here the educational facilities are world class, and the college fees are very minimal like Three thousand rupees a year. Every student can opt this college as; there are hostel facilities, I am glad to have a student at this college.
