Review of GH Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur

Overall Rating
What made me choose this institute was its distance from my home town, as Nagpur is close to my home town. One of the other reasons was that my long-distance cousin, who has recently graduated from this college, gave me a good review, and told me that the college has good placements with the average package of 6 LPA.
 

Academics Rating
So, my course was Bachelors of Technology in Data Science, as I was interested in the data science field from the start so I chose it. For the eligibility and entry requirements, I think that anyone with an average score in JEE and 12th can get a seat in this college. Regarding the course, this course covers a little bit of everything like statistics, computer science, and a little bit of economics.
 

Faculty Rating
Speaking of current scenarios as I am in my final year, faculty members who are teaching us are highly qualified and hold a vast amount of knowledge regarding data science subjects. Teachers also have high-level education backgrounds and most of the teachers focus on practical learning rather than theory.
 

Placement Rating
We do have a Placement Cell in our college also known as the "Training and Placement cell", staff members present in this cell help students with any problems in the field of internship, job search, and various other career support measures. As the college has a tie-up with a huge number of companies, the Placement Cell helps us find suitable jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
Our college does provide residential facilities; boys and girls both have different hostels. The boys' hostel is connected to the college itself and the girls' hostel is situated 5-6 km away from the college. Hostel life is pretty fun as we get to meet various students from different cultures. The college provides all the necessary facilities like AC, furnished rooms, and clean rooms. Hostel canteens provide a 5-star meal every day. Regarding the infrastructure, the college hostel covers a vast area to have fun and perform various indoor and outdoor activities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college is not big in terms of area; it only has one building and all the departments are in the same building. The college consists of a 6 story building and all the facilities that any other college has like, a sports room, libraries, and other facilities. Regarding the labs, they are equipped with high-level technology to provide utmost support to students.
 

Campus Rating
Speaking of college life, it is very fun. We do have various clubs which are active and keep participating in different kinds of competitions, and keep the students engaged. The college keeps organising events all around the year and one of our popular events is "Antaragini", which is 5-6 days long and pretty enjoyable.

    I would recommend GHRCE Nagpur to the students who are looking for a good engineering college in Nagpur. My honest overall experience is good as it has best faculties. Teachers are highly qualified done there PhDs from foreign i.e. London, UK, etc. I feel it makes institute different from others.     Overall Rating
    GH Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur provides a mixed academic experience. The faculty quality varies, some being excellent while others are mediocre. The infrastructure is decent with well-equipped labs, but the campus could be better maintained. Co-curricular activities are encouraged but lack strong organization.     The overall review of the college is good; the department of first year is very good with nice classrooms and good academic facilities. The college has gym, labs and good faculty. All the first-year students’ labs have access to Mac desktop which is very good. The negative point of the college is that after the first year of college, the second-year students are shifted on the 4th floor and some classes are not good on the 4th floor.     College is best for the student teaching. The functions here are celebrated with enjoyment and happiness with the security there are bouncers who are available for our security.     Overall review of GH Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur is decent. Talking about the placement, infrastructure, facilities, and campus environment of the college is pretty good.
