Shri Ram College of Commerce is the best college of Delhi University. It is located in the North campus of Delhi University. This college is considered to be the number one college in India in commerce field. This college is famous for its academic excellence. These all factors made me choose this particular institute for my under graduation in Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.). My overall college experience till now is very great. I have achieved so many milestones till now (for example, winning business case competitions and college society competitions, successfully completed an internship, doing extracurricular activities, building so many skills like time management skill, public speaking skills, teamwork skills, presentation skills, etc.). I would strongly recommend students to go for this same institute for their higher education because of the following reasons: 1) It is dream destination for the students who are dedicated to become chartered accountants or who want to prepare for CAT screening. 2) The campus is considered to be as the temple of commerce where hobby of the students converted into their talents. 3) Students who top their particular regions whether from central board of secondary education or other educational boards studies here. 4) Students studying here are highly motivated. 5) Faculties here are from top educational backgrounds who deliver quality education with top class knowledge and excellence.

I have opted for Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) as it will help in my career development in the field of commerce and opens doors to commerce and management world after this undergraduate course. Most of the students in Delhi University opt for this program. Doing this course from Shri ram College of Commerce is really worth it as we know this college is famous for commerce related courses. Students can take admission in any undergraduate program by giving Central University entrance test conducted by National Test Agency (NTA) and by successfully achieving the required cut off marks for this college. You can be eligible to give this test after completing your 12th class board exams but sometimes we have to apply for the test even before completion of all the board exams. The students who are waiting for their 12th class results can also apply for this test, but at the time of admission they would have to submit their result before the admission committee/ university. As I previously mentioned that our college is the best for commerce related courses. This also implies that our faculty teachers are also very experienced and well educated. Maximum faculty teachers have at least 10 years or 15 years of teaching experience. Our college faculty staff is very diverse in terms of religion, culture, caste, gender, etc. faculty teachers have very strong financial backgrounds and they even sometimes help financially needy students. The teachers are also very helpful regarding doubts solving, problem solving, and any other problem. Every single teacher have modern style of teaching for example teaching from PowerPoint presentation, teaching all the time in English, etc. Teachers are not very strict as we pretend them to be.

Yes, our college do have Placement Cell which is really very helpful for the students to get placements in top multinational companies and even in big four companies. Almost 90% of the students who apply for placements get placed. Till now our college has highest placement package of 35 lakh per annum and average placement package of around 12 lakh per annum which is very good. Considering all other significant factors overall we have a very great Placement Cell at our institute.

Yes, there is a hostel facility in our college, separately for boys and girls. I personally had not seen hostel facilities from inside but my all friends who reside in hostel would say that our college hostel rooms are well maintained and furnished, and hostel facilities (example mess, water, health facilities, etc.) are also very good. They enjoy their hostel life by organising their separate hostel programs or fun activities.

Our college infrastructure is good (not excellent, rather it's infrastructure is the best in comparison to other colleges of Delhi University, but in comparison with Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) it's is not better than these management colleges). The buildings are very big and there are many floors in the building (some blocks have 2 floors while other blocks have 3 floors). There are around 10- 15 classes on every floor. There is also one lift in every block for persons with disabilities (PWD students) and there is also a separate specific canteen/cafe for disabled students. There are 4 computer labs for computer related subjects and a very huge library with 2 floors. Our college auditorium is also very nice and big. There is also a sports complex in our college.

Our college, Shri Ram College of Commerce has beautiful campus and wonderful study environment. It is the top college under Delhi University in terms of its overall campus life. As regards to its crowd, I have observed that almost every single student is very helpful and friendly by nature. I haven't seen even a single student abusing in campus. As fests were conducted every year in every college of Delhi University, in most of the colleges I have seen students fighting even on silly issues but fests of Shri Ram College of Commerce had never suffered from this problem. Each and every fests, events, conferences, workshops, etc. have been conducted in a very peaceful and beautiful manner. Our college societies are also very good and many students have won uncountable prizes, trophies, gifts, and what not. Being in a prestigious college society means a lot of career advancement opportunities and personal growth.
