Kalindi College B.Sc Review By Abhilasha Sharma

Kalindi College is really one of the best colleges in Delhi for women. I personally love my college because of its safe surroundings and it being really close to my house really eased my travelling problem. It is located in a residential area and have lively surroundings. It is also animal friendly as I have seen many cats in the campus who loves the pet. It gives the same vibe as that of school. It has a proper timetable for students as well as teachers which needs to be followed strictly. I love the facilities here, the canteen has a lot to offer, and I myself haven't tried all the things available there. Overall it is a very hospitable planet for shy and introvert people like myself.

I am currently pursuing mathematics honours and I must say, enrolling in this course is really not some piece of cake. For this you need to stay focused and consistent. Teachers are always ready to take doubts as well as extra classes. In short teachers are helpful, but maths is a subject which requires time and a lot of attention. Therefore, practicing every day should be the main principle of a maths hons. student.

Teachers are really helpful and hardworking. They never get tired of teaching whereas students get tired and go on a mass bunk. Recently a new teacher has joined there maths department and she's literally the perfect teacher. All the teachers are genuine though but this particular teacher is really punctual and sincere to her work. However, students must remember that if they face any difficulty teachers are always there to help them, so we shouldn't hesitate to ask any kind of doubt, be it little or huge.

We do have a Placement Cell but being here for only 6 months, I don't really know about it.

Hostel is under construction just behind our college ground .

Infrastructure is not really impressive as the buildings are not really eye catching. The paint on buildings is falling and it sometimes feels as if we are near a public washroom, because of the ill-coloured building. Not all the blocks are like that, other block is really good with 2 floors, and science block with 3 floors and lots of greenery around and inside it.

All in all, this is a really great same wonderful college. Crowd is good and surroundings are lively. There are lots of fests almost every month and lots of sports activities are there. I wanted to join NCC but couldn't as I was a late-comer but never mind I am now a member of the NSS unit of Kalindi. There also many clubs and societies in this college. Recently a so called dead club rose back to life, which is the photography club.
