Review of Uttaranchal University, Dehradun

Overall Rating
Our university has a beautiful and wide campus and offers multiple courses. Our teachers are so talented and experienced in their respective fields. Our university has huge campus and a huge auditorium. We have 3 food court areas which are hygienic and budget friendly for the students. Our college has an ATM in the campus, a salon in the campus for the students.
 

Academics Rating
BCA defined as Bachelors in Computer Application is really a smart student course to be enrolled. The course provides us knowledge about computer languages, software engineering, operating system, DBMS, etc. Eligibility is that you must have done your intermediate through any board. Such a good course if you are interested in this field.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are so well experienced and knowledgeable. In terms of behavior, faculties are friendly and help out students to choose the right path during their semesters. Faculty is the one who will help us most during our college time. Most of the faculties are friendly and try to make students comfort so they ask their doubts or queries.
 

Placement Rating
Our university placements are mind blowing. For BCA there are many companies which are provided by our university. In 4th semester we get training to crack the interview or exams held by the companies to hire us.
 

Hostel Rating
Sorry, I don’t know about hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
One of the huge infrastructures in Dehradun. Our college is so well in this like for each group of related courses we have different departments and buildings. We have different labs. Our college has best library. It’s huge and has so much space to study there. Our auditorium has huge capacity.
 

Campus Rating
One of the best campus in Dehradun. Uttaranchal University has one of the huge campus I have ever seen so many buildings, grounds, parking, food court, cafe, salon, and ATM. We can go anywhere and roam here and there. We have a huge football ground, volleyball ground, etc. Our campus has clean grounds.

  • Good infrastructure and cooperative Faculty
     

    Overall Rating
    Uttaranchal University is beautiful University situated in between the greens and has an amazing infrastructure. The reason I chose this college is because it is quite cheaper than all the other colleges in Dehradun. For B.Sc it is A1 institute while I didn't recommend this for masters as placement ratio in Every batch differ.... Read Full Review

  • Uttaranchal University is very attractive
     

    Overall Rating
    Uttaranchal University is one of the most attractive sites in the city. There are many beautiful schools and colleges in the city, but still Uttaranchal is way above the rest. The University has 5 schools, and I was a part of their management school known as Uttaranchal Institute of Management. However, if you are a career-oriented student, then please avoid this college. 80% of the students are brats who are here just for fun or for the sake of the degree.   • Contribution of Uttaranchal University was quite slim
     

    Overall Rating
    I was looking forward to going to the College after almost 4 months' break because the sessions in Uttarakhand Universities generally start in August. While our exams were finished in March and results were out in May. College life started at the Uttaranchal University with an induction program which lasted a week. From the outset, it's hard to figure out how the University operates. Exams dates changed often, but the good part was they were postponed and students never had complaints with that....   • Uttaranchal University had some deserts and some green areas
     

    Overall Rating
    I will consider all the ebbs and the flaws before passing my verdict about 'Uttaranchal University'. On some days, it felt like the University was stream rolling every other University, while on some instances, it looked like a shop where we had booked our seats to study. Campus life would be my pick of all the points that I have to review. The campus life here was exceptional as no one can match the kind of events and the fests that happen here.
