Review of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, New Delhi

Overall Rating
I personally found this college is best among the other colleges in the campus as I was from a Sikh background and with the help of Sikh minority I was able to get this college. I asked from many other students about this college, they also said its good college after the Hindu Hansraj SRCC. Although it’s an off campus college but have A++ grade and 47 NIRF ranking.
 

Academics Rating
The professors are well educated and teach really well. Rarely teacher cancels any classes. There is always doubt session. They take the presentation and also help us to realise our mistakes which we had done during the course also tell us the other topics which are not in syllabus but useful in life. They give proper time for the mid semester exams and also takes the class test which help us to understand and learn the things quickly.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the teachers add Dr. in their name which shows they are Ph.D in the specified subjects. There are many courses like B.Com (program), B.Com Honours, BMS, CS Honours, etc. The teachers are exceptionally talented some of the teachers also write their own subject books. They all are from a reputed background also college supports the PWD Quota teachers. Their teaching style is also very good. They also provide us notes of each chapter, tell us about the important topics, and share the experience of teaching.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Training and Placement Cell in our college. It is very active in the college. They help students for jobs and also to get internships.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have a hostel but it’s a girl’s hostel for the safety of the girls. It is very well maintained.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is best among the other colleges. There are projectors in each and every class. Benches are also very good. Classes are fully air-conditioned. We have a large library which has all study books. Good, well built, and air-conditioned canteen. There are 4 blocks in the college building and also there are 2 auditoriums.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd is very good. All come from a very good background. There is only Sikh Quota or General, there is not other quotas like EWS, OBC, SC, and ST. Also it requires nearly 710-740 marks in CUET which is very good score and which help the good students to take admission. The college party is good. Fest named eminence is conducted in college.

    My overall experience in SGGSCC New Delhi has been excellent. It is known for its focus on Commerce, Economics, and Management courses whilst still offering other Undergraduate degree in Computer Science and BA (Hons.) in Punjabi.     My overall experience at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce till now is pretty good. The overall infrastructure of the college is one of the best in whole DU. All the classrooms are fully AC, benches and buildings are well maintained too, even the washrooms are very clean. Sports facilities in the college are also very nice.     Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (Delhi University) located in Pithampur has a clean, green and a spacious campus with beautiful flora and fauna. It has a huge campus divided into hostel, academics and playground area. The college has a positive environment.     Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce is a wonderful college situated in Northwest of Delhi at Netaji Subhash Place Pitampura. It is a premium institute for commerce established in 1984 and is among one of the topmost colleges for Commerce and Economics in Delhi University.     At first I thought SGGSCC is an off campus college so it might not be worth attending since I was an outstation student. But with time I realised that this was one of the best choices of my life as the environment this college provides is unbelievably surreal to me. I got this college through the CUET entrance test.
