Review of Techno India University, Kolkata

Overall Rating
Overall, obviously other renowned college's degree has more value but techno India will provide you with best in class grooming. For my subject the hands on lab experience were good. One can rely on that. Ragging and bullying was a problem before, but strict actions have been taken against it all the times.
 

Academics Rating
Microbiology is a very good subject and has a lot of potential as it is required in almost every field in life science. It might not be a core subject, but being a specialization subject it has some benefits like less saturation in comparison to other fields like zoology or botany. Microbiology is a very recent climbing topic which is been prioritised in lot of ways.
 

Faculty Rating
All the teachers are overwhelmingly qualified. All has a minimum of one Ph.D and one Post-Doc and multiple thesis and papers on their name. They are very friendly, very generous, very supportive, and overall a good guide on whom you can trust. Their teaching style was flawless as grooming is their first priority.
 

Placement Rating
I haven't applied for placement because I was not ready for job as I was pursuing higher studies.
 

Hostel Rating
I didn't stay in hostel so I cannot say anything about it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university as a whole has central air conditioning. It is very clean where hygiene is well maintained. There is a swimming pool where students can relax and a big ground with shade where all groups are found playing and having fun. The university is located just beside a main road, so public transport available is also very good.
 

Campus Rating
Very energetic crowd. Fests and cultural programs are to be held in every two to three months. The winter fest is very big and well renowned singers are seen to be performing. Departmental freshers and universities fresher are held on two different days. Convocation is held in a grand way in different places.

    Overall experience is good and few teachers are average. The college fee was expensive for me but h\the education offered is okay. The campus is well furnished. It has well furnished and equipped kitchen and bathroom and toilet. Good canteens with good staff are available. Security is also good in the college premises.     I am a B.Tech student. I have good scores in class 13th but not a good JEE or WBJEE Rank so I tried for private colleges it might be beneficial due to factors like diverse academic programs, experienced faculty, modern infrastructure, industry connections for practical exposure, and a supportive learning environment.     Overall, it's an average if you are following the syllabus but great if you can use all the resources. This was a better option offering same package as other technical universities with less pressure. It has great fests and events that are famous in whole Kolkata and have great options for hostels and regular both. It's mostly famous for the cultural events.
