All about IIT BHU

Overall Rating
If you want good your campus life, good placement, to explore Varanasi, supportive environment for sports then this college is for you. I have chosen this college because here metallurgy branch is one best branch in comparison to other IITs and has a great alumni network. Based on my rank I got this college.
 

Academics Rating
Metallurgy department course in IIT BHU is very supportive according to industry requirements. Some professors are very strict but supportive and helpful. If you want to go on metallurgy field then this is best college for you. Because metallurgy department of IIT BHU is oldest B.Tech branch of India.
 

Faculty Rating
Mostly teaching staff and professors are graduated from IITs or great colleges. Teaching style of profs is different for different prof, every prof have unique style of teaching and some are strict and some are very gentle type. Every branch have sufficient numbers of teaching staff. Faculty is overall good and supportive.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have training and placement cell(TPC), that is very supportive and hardworking. They are very hardworking guys and always ready to solve your problem related to placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Overall hostels are in good condition. Some old hostels are not in good condition but their environment is different from other new hostels. New hostels give luxurious experience.
 

Infrastructure Rating
All know that the infrastructure of IIT BHU is old but fascinating, when you seen the old building you will get different vibes. All the buildings are symbol of great Indian architecture. You can go anywhere you want also in BHU's departments and enjoy the big and green campus. All the labs and classes are in good condition.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of IIT BHU is one the best college life. You can explore everything like your hobbies, entertainment, skills, etc. Big campus and green campus gives great vibes and also you can go and explore the Ganga Ghats, Holy City Banaras. Lots of clubs are available for students to explore different fields like sahwog, sntc, dance, music, jagriti, cops, and all that.

    Overall IIT BHU is good in terms of placement from every other IIT. You should definitely put some good choices in counseling and put some good branches.     IIT BHU is currently ranked 10 in NIRF ranking 2024. The college has very good environment for academics and personal development. So many clubs and societies are there to help a student in his / her extracurricular growth. The college has tech clubs like aero modeling, robotics, coding club, and more.     The overall experience at IIT BHU is like dream fulfilling, had a rigorous curriculum, research opportunities and highly educated faculties for the academics. I really like the sports facilities offered by the institute and joyful & memorable experiences at the festivals. But when it comes to hostel life is really get emotional because hostel is the true heart of the students where they live for 4/5 years as their home and friends as siblings.     I joined the institute because the coding culture here is the best (in my opinion). According to the convention, IIT BHU stands at 9th position in all 23 IITS. It stands at 3rd position in overall 23 IITs in terms of placements. It has a lavish green campus and has its own vibe. The campus is literally huge with area of whopping 1300 acres.
