Best College in My Life

Overall Rating
Walchand Institute of Technology is the best college in Solapur with NAAC grade of A+. Since I wanted to study in Solapur and not outside , therefore I chose this college. Everyone who wants to study in Solapur, there first preference should be WIT. This Institute is autonomous and conducts every exam by themselves and students get enough time to study.
 

Academics Rating
The only way to get admission into this college is through MHT-CET. The student should be 12th pass with minimum of 150 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths combined in boards exam. Then he'll get admitted to a branch based on the cutoff of CET Percentile. I chose the ENTC branch because it's diverse field and electronics circuits fascinates me.
 

Faculty Rating
Every faculty of this college is senior. They hold M.Tech degree in respective branches they teach in. Some of the faculty have graduated from this college itself. The teaching style of the faculty is very good. They are not monotonous and speak interestingly. They clear doubt in the lecture itself.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of the Institute is very big and beautiful. Every department has their own buildings. They have their own departmental libraries too. Civil and Mechanical branch have the entire different building. The college has big auditorium Hall with the occupancy of 500 students. The college has huge central Library.
 

Campus Rating
Many technical and cultural events happen at college. Atharva is a cultural fest happening in January which includes singing, dancing, act, drama. STROKES is a sports events which includes games like cricket, football, basketball, chess, etc. It happens in February. WITCHAR is one of the national level event which includes department wise competitions. The college has ISTE club too.

    It is Jain minority College. If you are Jain you will get admission with low score. There also privilege to SC, ST, and other caste. If your father's income is less than 8 lakhs College fees are approx. 65 thousand else you have to pay approx. 1 lakh 10 thousand. And for SC ST college fees is approx. 20 thousand.     This college is the best college located in Solapur district. And it ranks at 55th college in Maharashtra for engineering courses. The courses offered here are Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Computer Engineering, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering.
