I’m a student in the second year of B.Sc hons. in computational physics, which comes under the School of Science. The Overall Experience have been really good. The campus, the crowd, the faculty and the placements are really good. MITWPU provides a platform to get the exposure to learn and acquire each and every skill which are required in professional life. The events provide you with immense teamwork skills and exploration of ideas. There are a lot of clubs in campus, who are masters at their work of space, and help you channel your interest and passion in a productive way. All the clubs have different field of specialization, Eg. "Innovation hub" is the main club which organizes all the events and stuff - which acts as a good platform to get exposure and socialize and learn about management. "The Cosmos Club" is the official astronomy club of the college, with a fully functional observatory at the top of the hill behind the college, where astronomical data is collected and researched on. The list goes on and on for the clubs. The campus in itself is pretty and has multiple cafeterias and places to sit. Different departments have different buildings, which have access to specialized universal labs for research. MITWPU lets you get the best of you, to explore all the fields and skills without any limitations.

B.Sc hons. computational physics is a new course in the college, we are the first batch. The course in itself is structured very well, with subjects and specializations customized according to the students. There are multiple electives and specializations including Quantum Computing, Astrophysics, Lazer Technology and Computational Physics. The Basic requirements are 10th and 12th marks after which a personal interview will take place and you will enroll in the course. Why to take the course - The course provides the perfect stage for people who are interested in physics and any of such specialization and also want to do programming along with it. So you get opportunities in both latest research topics like quantum computing and also look towards IT field.

The faculty in itself is really good; all of the professors have specializations and mastery in their subjects. The HOD is really cool and helping and is always up for any new ideas you want to implement and discuss about. The professors are also a lot helpful and do discuss about any issues with the students. The department is kind of small for the course and does require few more specialized teachers to make it much easy and a bigger department.

The infrastructure is really good, as each department has their own buildings and specialized labs for research and manufacturing. There are a lot of workshops in the campus for manufacturing. The main building for admission process and enquiry is CHANAKYA which is at the end of the campus. The main library is also quiet good and has a lot of amenities and books to study, including digital libraries. Different academic sections are spread across the campus. There is also a cart that helps in transports for parents and faculties.

The campus is huge and good. There are a lot of trees which provide shade and a soothing atmosphere in the campus. There are water cooler available across the campus. There are 4-5 canteens spread across the campus which provide good food. There are few vending machines too. Sometimes the campus can be a lot noisy due to a lot of crowd at peak time. It also leads to congestion outside the campus, on the main road leading to delays, so coming in early for classes is better. There are 2 basketball courts and a sports complex which is under construction at the time - which would consist of swimming pool, badminton court, etc. There is a huge space allotted for parking.
