Review on KIIT University

Overall Rating
I was interested in coding. Through coding I also wanted to create things that would help people. I wanted to learn different languages in coding. That's why I decided to pursue B.Tech. I've chosen KIIT university as it has courses align with my interest. KIIT is a well known private university also the university has a good reputation. These attract me to be a part of KIIT university and became a KIITIAN.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criteria to be a part of this university are to pass 12th and the university itself conducts its own examination named KIITEE for admission of all courses provided here. I'm pursuing B.Tech in CSE, so I must have 65% above in PCM in 12th and for pursuing CSE you must have scored more than 75% in the KIITEE exam.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members and professors are very supportive. There are many faculties divided for different subject courses. Our result is also depending on the internal marks provided by the faculties. This shows how they are helpful. Their way of teaching is good and they are well qualified. Many of the professors have completed their degrees from IIT.
 

Placement Rating
KIIT University has tie-ups with many companies. They provide good amount of internships for the 2nd as well as 3rd year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we've residential facilities. There are approximately 20 hostels for boys and 11 hostels for girls. The hostels include 3 bedded AC and non- AC rooms, 2 bedded AC rooms, and premium hostels also. The hostel provides us bed, table, bucket, and almirah and the mess provides us 4 time meal: breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The KIIT University campus is too vast to explore. Every campus is divided for different courses, for e.g. CSE Department, Electrical, Mechanical Department, Law Campus, etc. It has a beautiful central library. The university also has temples. This university is divided in 3: KIIT, KIMS, and KISS. KIMS for medical students.
 

Campus Rating
Our university holds fests and multiple events. There are many societies related to dancing, singing, arts and craft, nukkad natak, etc. also NCC and NSS. The campus life is too interesting. It conducts flash mobs in every month of different societies. There are recruitments for these societies. University also holds coding competitions or events.

    I chose KIIT for many reasons and some of them are good infrastructure and rich coding culture. Here the environment is good and also the facilities are good. Campus is big green and there are many sports facilities and most faculties are good and we can share our problems with our mentors here and here overall experience is good.     KIIT is one of the private institutes you can consider if you don't get IITs, NITs, IIITs or any State Government Institute. Main reason for choosing this institute was affordability, the location, and also facilities. Also, there is such a good environment here for living in a very pleasant weather. Its tuition fee is high, but the hostel and mess fee are quite low. Tuition fees are Rs. 2 lakhs per semester for CSE branch and for others it is Rs. 1.75 lakhs to Rs. 1.9 lakhs.     The college life in KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar is one of the best college. Events are held pretty often. The entire University has greenery everywhere. Although the mess and hostel fee is pretty less as compared to other private college’s fee but the food in the mess is not so good at times.
