SSCBS Review

Overall Rating
I chose this institute based on its crowd which is more competitive and the placement of this college is best among all the management colleges in undergrad colleges. It is one of the best undergrad business management colleges in entire India. And there is a strong society culture in this college with almost 50 societies for students.
 

Academics Rating
In this college, there are three courses BMS, BBA(FIA), and B.Sc (CS). BMS and BFIA are the best and the placement is equal in these courses academically both courses have many subject similarities but it is easy to get a CGPA in BFIA. This college comes under DU and it takes admission on the CUET marks with the eligibility of General Test + Maths + English.
 

Faculty Rating
There are two types of faculty members one is permanent faculty and the other is guest faculty just like any other college of DU. Both types of teachers are good at teaching and the majority of all the guest faculty are young. And they teach seriously. All the permanent faculty are Ph.D. holders and the guest faculty are pursuing Ph.D.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, my college has a student-run placement cell and they work hard to call companies on our campus. Year wise more companies are visiting our college. Some of the top companies coming to our college are Bain, McKinsey, DE Shaw, and Dabur, every year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, my college has a hostel facility but that is limited to very few students as there are only 72 seats. The allocation is based on the marks in CUET for the first-year student. For other years their seats are allocated based on the CGPA. Hostel have all the necessities and are well equipped with the latest technology.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus is on 5 acres with all the best infrastructure in the whole of DU. It is spread over 7 floors. And it is a corporate oriental college so the college building also looks like a corporate office. The seating facilities are also good. Classroom size is big and spacious. The library is equipped with many books of academically oriented, business journals, and novels.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good with all the time there is a societal event going on. Society's culture is very competitive. The college is competitive and every other student is trying something new and doing something out of their domain. There are almost 50 societies on our campus. But only a few societies are active and the others are active only during their event time.

    SSCBS is a very good college if one wants to excel in academics. Though its campus life is not remarkable when compared with North Campus but still the annual fests like Crescendo keep the mood on. My major reason for choosing this college over others was primarily its amazing placements and I wanted to pursue a finance specialised course which is offered here only. If one really wants to keep his academic and college life balanced and hand in hand, then they should definitely go for it.... Read Full Review

    Overall the college is the best college in terms of ROI, the faculty is amazing and helpful. The placement part which is the main criteria for any student to join the college is always maintained in the college. Although the campus life is not great here.
