Overall I would say this college is good. You may think the campus is in a remote location but many top colleges with huge areas are also in such locations. If you are getting it you can take it. But remember on-campus placement is not as high as IITs and good NITs have. You have to work a lot to get a high salary in tech jobs(not sure about non-tech jobs). Wish you all the very best.....Always remember -- in life you will always get two types of people, one who will say negative, will demotivate you and another who will say positive, will support you.

I am from CSE so I can only say about it. In this department, academics is not tough. You will pass if you study properly. The teachers are good and not so strict. But for developing skills, college study is not enough you have to work a lot by yourself. Each and every type of course is on the internet.

Faculties-- Some are very good and kind, some are average and few are strict. Few teachers do research work, if you want you can work with them. Some will be detained if attendance is less than 75%. Not every teacher does it. Teachers also fail you if you don't perform well in semester exams (if less than 35%).

Ok, the main thing, is placement. I am from CSE so I am only describing tech jobs. It is average if your skill is average and very good if your skill is very good. This is because what I have seen here is that seniors get offers of 30lpa, 19lpa and 5-6lpa also(including on-campus and off-campus). FAANG companies don't come here but don't think that your hard work would not pay you, still those who are skilled get better placement options. For non-tech jobs placement is relatively low in terms of no. of students and salary, but students get placed.

There are 10 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel. All 4 hostels for girls are in separate areas inside the campus where they have to enter before 6 pm during winter and before 7 pm during summer. Boys' hostels are in different places, not bounded like girls' hostels and the timing for boys' hostels is different for different hostels, it varies between 9 pm to 11 pm. The infrastructure of the hostels is good. Each hostel has having badminton court, TV room, table tennis, and some indoor games. Mess and mess food is also good but it depends on you because different people have different tastes. Students can not keep cooking devices with themself in rooms. Parking areas for cycles are available in front of each hostel.

There are 7 departments for engineering in this college, and the infrastructure of each department is very good. Each department is very spacious, having more than enough classrooms, some are smart classes, and labs are also good. Some departments are attached to the bridge, which looks very good. There is a parking area in front of each department. The infrastructure of new buildings of existing departments is excellent.

The campus is full of greenery, you would like it most. It's very charming and makes you feel very relaxed. There are around 5000 people on a campus of 450 acres. There are so many clubs. The main annual fests are techfest and madhuram. Various other activities also happen regularly. There is a longowal market at walking distance of 20min from campus gate where you will find each and everything. Overall campus life is very good.
