Review of CVR College of Engineering, Ranga Reddy

Overall Rating
I joined this college through EAMCET in 2022. My rank was 3819 and cut-off of for reservation was around 4500. I choose this college over sreenidhi and gokaraju only by seeing the track record of placement. This college has hostel facility and far from the city. The college has good placement record over the years. The highest package was around 58 LPA.
 

Academics Rating
I chose computer science and engineering course because I have good interest in coding. The eligibility for this program is EAMCET rank. This college has really good experience in this course. Though the teaching methods for this course really boring and old we can take the help of online materials and learn the subject.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty is Ph.D holders. Some of the faculty doesn’t even know how to properly communicate with the students they just think that by shouting they could make student learn the subject. While some of the faculty is good at understanding and solving student’s problems. The college need to recruit the faculty based on teaching methods but not by experience.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, it is the highlight of the college.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college provides hostels but they are very expensive.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has different academic blocks for each department. The library of this college has wide range of books and also provides the facility of e-books. Some of the labs are old and not equipped well but some labs are good. The worst thing about college infrastructure of classrooms is the benches, they are really small.
 

Campus Rating
I would say the campus life is not as much as we would expect the college has very strict rules and regulations. They always think that discipline is most important than subject. Each department has its own club. The fest is only once a year it’s called ciencia. The activities organised by this clubs are very rare as college interferes with everything.

The factors that made me choose this college is that I got a seat in this college by writing EAMCET exam so this college was allotted to me.     Yes, CVR College of Engineering is a good college for engineering, especially for CS, IT, and AI related fields. It has strong placements, decent faculty, and a good learning environment.     It is very good college among all peer colleges in Hyderabad. It has been placed among top 5 EAMCET colleges in Telangana. Nature and buildings are very nice and infrastructure IS good.     I joined this college through EAMCET. There were not many good colleges for my rank 6244. The main and only reason I chose this college is because of its placements. The college follows very strict rules and regulations. My experience so far is mediocre. I like the college only due to its placements. But the college do not support daring attitude....
