Review of CVR College of Engineering, Ranga Reddy

Overall Rating
CVR College of Engineering is one of the top most colleges in Hyderabad. I got my admission to the college through the TSEAMCET exam. The placements in the college are very good. Everyone looks for placement when joining the college. The college is strict academic wise. Overall you will get an average college life feeling. But, that not a problem.
 

Academics Rating
I am in Computer science and engineering core branch. There are many other branches related to computers. It is completely fine if you take any one of the branches, mostly the syllabus would be same. I got a rank of 6k in TSEAMCET exam. It normally requires a minimum of 6-8K rank to get into CSE in the college.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty has done their masters in some universities. Coming to teaching, only few faculties are great in teaching while most of the faculty will just teach the content that is in the textbook. The faculty will clear all the doubts of the students. There will be separate faculty for each branch.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The buildings are old but they are okay. We will have road all over the campus and many CCTV cameras to monitor student's activities. One of the most loved places of CVR is the cricket ground. It is too big compared to most of the other colleges. There will be a canteen and one stationary shop in college hours.
 

Campus Rating
There are many college clubs but they are not active very much. There will be only 1 or 2 events that will be conducted yearly. The 75% attendance criterion is followed very strictly. The college is small in area. You will not able to bunk classes easily too. Ragging will not be entertained at any time.

    It is very good college among all peer colleges in Hyderabad. It has been placed among top 5 EAMCET colleges in Telangana. Nature and buildings are very nice and infrastructure IS good.     I joined this college through EAMCET. There were not many good colleges for my rank 6244. The main and only reason I chose this college is because of its placements. The college follows very strict rules and regulations. My experience so far is mediocre. I like the college only due to its placements. But the college do not support daring attitude....     CVR college is situated near Ibrahimpatam Rangareddy. The campus is located away from the city which has peaceful environment. The way the faculty teaches is marvellous. Our college has large classrooms with good facilities. Lab is good well equipped with computers. Our college provides hostel facilities with good food and leaving rooms. Infrastructure is good....     I joined this college through EAMCET in 2022. My rank was 3819 and cut-off of for reservation was around 4500. I choose this college over sreenidhi and gokaraju only by seeing the track record of placement. This college has hostel facility and far from the city.     My experience at CVR College of Engineering was pretty basic only. If you don't have a scholarship offered by the state government then it will be somewhat difficult to pay the fee. The fee is around 1.5 lakh. It is best known for its placements. You will definitely get a placement if you follow the placement cell.... Read Full Review
