An amazing learning experience at Punjabi university

Overall Rating
Overall it's a great experience in academics as well as sports on the Punjabi University Patiala. It's NAAC 'A' grade Accredited state university. Punjabi University Admission is on pure merit basis, all reservation rules are applied in the admission process. There is a physical efficiency test for admission in M.P.ED its number should be count in merit as well as sports achievements number should be added in merit. University management is very well planned and cooperative.
 

Academics Rating
I have done M.P.ED. from Punjabi University. Eligibility for this course is B.P.ED or its equivalent. This course is mandatory to become an Assistant professor, lecturer. The course subjects are as per my expectations and it gives full exposure. yes this course is a Professional course and help to get a job.
 

Faculty Rating
There and highly qualified professional faculties. Overall 6 teaching faculty and 4 non-teaching faculties are there. Average 8 years of experience in teaching. All faculties are highly qualified UGC net, JRF Qualified faculty. There is very experienced and qualified staff and their teaching methods are students centric they teach very well.
 

Placement Rating
University Organizes different training seminars and sessions for students as well as faculty and Punjabi University placement cell organizes placement drives from time to time for different courses. After completing the course students get admission to Ph.D. and get government jobs at state and national level schools, colleges, and universities.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facility is provided in university campus, total 4 hostels are there which provides 800 rooms for boys and three hostels for girls. Yes, girl's and boy's hostels are separate. Punjabi University Hostel Fees are nominal Rs. 6000 per year. It provides good quality hygienic fresh food to students. Security cameras are there on all campuses as well as security guards are there.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Punjabi University campus spreads in total 600 acres area on Patiala Chandigarh road. Their buildings are fully furnished and Classrooms are equipped with all the latest learning equipment's, Ac library, laboratories workshop and auditorium is there. It has a garden and synthetic track and all sports facility. Cafeteria stores and clinics for medical and emergency support where doctors are available.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life provides opportunity overall development of individual personality there are different clubs, activities inter clubs and inter-class competitions and good learning and interaction platform all regional and national fest celebrated by students and faculty and management by full zeal and zest.

    I would like to give honest review regarding the same. The experience was both positive along with negativities. Although staff is supporting helps in every means. You will become confident as you are being provided with the opportunities to expose your skills through regular presentations, seminars, and in theoretical aspect with tests in between.   • Punjabi University was going through the worst phase during my time

    Questioning an institute which is 6 decades old and has produced some gems is not fair but what I have been through or seen was not good either. Patiala is no more a town that is famous for its historical forts or worship places. Today, it has some of the best colleges and universities in Thapar and Chitkara University Rajpura.
