I chose Jamia because it is an economical University. Its ROI is good. It's a A++ accredited university. Currently on rank 3 in central universities ranking. The infrastructure of the college is very good. The professors are highly qualified. Decent track records for placements are one of the main reasons for choosing this university. One should go for the same institute if one wants to get good ROI and better opportunities compared to some other colleges.

My course Bachelor of Hotel Management requires a student to be 12th passed with a minimum of 50% mark. Any stream student is eligible for this course. You just have to give Jamia Entrance and crack it to get admission to this course. The entrance syllabus has simple elementary school maths, reasoning, and English. After you crack the entrance test, there will be a basic interview to know your personality. Perform well and get admission. The course has 8 semesters(4 years). 3rd semester would be industrial training and the last semester would be OJT. So the learning you will be gaining in the college will be of six semesters because you will be spending the two semesters learning industry-based practical skills. Many students of Jamia are working in big 5-star hotels. So the opportunity will be endless here.

Faculty members here are very talented. They have field experience of a minimum 7-8 years. Therefore they can teach you the crux of industry deeply and practically. I remember one of our professor was former GM ( general manager ) of Lalit Hotel. So you can imagine how much industrial knowledge this person has if she were the GM of such a big brand Lalit. All the professors teach in a simple way followed by practicals in the kitchen/labs. They would personally teach you how to do a single step.

Yes, Jamia has a well-organised placement cell. They take care of the placements. They have tie-ups and regular interaction with big hotels like Oberoi, Crown Plaza, Holiday Inn, and many more. During the curriculum also, they call industrial experts and organise many hospitality events where you can showcase your talent and win prizes. Also, they teach us the road map of how to achieve a promising future in hotel industry.

Yes, hostels are there. But seats are very less as compared to other private colleges. But if you are from very far states then you can get it after 1 year. They conduct interviews for hostel allotment. The hostel is very beautiful with greeneries all around. Each hostel has a separate reading hall, canteen, and a basic gym. The rooms in the hostels are provided with AC and two beds. Each room accommodates two people. There would be a mess in each hostel and the food is also healthy. The best part is that all these facilities you can get by just paying 6300-7000 annually.

Campus is full of greeneries everywhere with fresh air prevailing. Most buildings are red coloured. The campus is very big and widespread. One can enjoy the mesmerizing monuments with greeneries, especially in the evening with a cup of tea. The campus is divided into gate numbers, our department of hospitality is inside gate no.7. At each gate number, there would be fresh drinking water available and toilets are also there.

College life here is very good. Lawns in front of every department are there. Students can sit, chill, or study there. In winter you can easily get sun warmth. There are different clubs and fests organised annually at each department. Fests are generally of 4-5 days where you can take part and enjoy the foods and other things. Clubs are also there which organised different events inside campus.
