Experience of My College Life at Delhi Technological University

Overall Rating
I joined Delhi Technological University in 2023 as a first-year student. Campus life is very exciting and thrilling as I experienced. There are many events happening in my college after a few days. North India's biggest fest engifest happened in January which was amazing. I had never seen something like that.
 

Academics Rating
There are many courses and so many branches of those courses available at DTU. I came from the Electronics And Communication Engineering branch. The computer labs and experiment centres are highly equipped with the latest types of machinery. There are only 75% attendance criteria in college which makes it a little bit strict but the professors are chill. They consider your attendance if you give them a valid reason.
 

Faculty Rating
The well-known and experienced faculty are present in my college. Every faculty of my department and other departments as far as I know are Ph.D holders. Their teaching methods are just great and wonderful. The lab assistant and assistant are also very helpful. I got help from them in every experiment in my first semester.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, College had a placement cell. The overall placement record of my college is fantastic. The average package of my college is 11.25 lacs per annum. The average of my branch(ECE) is near about 16.85 lacs per annum.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel infrastructure is above average. As this is a government college, everyone knows what is the condition of government buildings. So do not expect a five-star experience from hostels. But at present time the hostels are under renovation. So they becoming better in the coming years. Overall the hostels are great. It's not about the building it's about your friend circle.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus infrastructure is great. Every department has its own academic block. The first-year classes occur in Pragya Bhawan which are newly developed and well-maintained classrooms. The structure of old buildings gives a retro and futuristic look. All academic departments are present in a circle shape which gives a great look. There is a centralised library on the campus which has a huge variety of books present in it.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very exciting and thrilling. There are many clubs and societies present in the college. Some of the societies are kalakriti( for art and craft), pratibimb(the darama society), madhurima( the music society), yuvaan( the literature and film council), inferno ( robotics and machine team), SAE( society for automotive engineers), etc. These are just few society of the college. There are many fest like engifest, Invictus, yuvaan , ahavaan, prakaram, agaaz, etc.

You may find various societies ranging from tech coding societies, to music societies dance society, debating society, and finance society.   • All You Need to Know About D.T.U.

    My experience at D.T.U. till now has been fabulous. Many fests, events and summits were conducted throughout the year such as Engi-Fest, E-Summit, Food Fest, Fresher’s Party and the Diwali Mela.     So, last year I got into DTU through JEE Mains, there have been ups and downs since the first day. But after a point of time, you will get used to it. At first, it was very new and everything seemed to be explorable but when you come daily here, it's normal as your daily life and becomes a part of it. It's been good till date and hope to be it well. I chose it because it's closer to my home than any other college and obviously it's one of the reputed and good colleges.
