Review of P.G.D.A.V College, New Delhi

Overall Rating
At the time of admission PGDAV was not my first choice, I only landed upon it because of my marks but after starting the journey in the college I started to realise there is something that brings me to the PGDAV. PGDAV has huge campus, one of the biggest canteens in DU, different cultural societies, a very efficient Placement Cell, and a bunch of well experienced teachers and staff.
 

Academics Rating
I had pursued bachelors of commerce in this college for enhancing my marketing and accounting skills through the vast syllabus subjects. This course is eligible for students who passed their 12th with commerce mainly Accountancy and Business Studies as subjects. Although now all admission requirements are a good CUET score with related subject.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of PGDAV was quite brilliant. Every teacher thought my three years had different styles and teaching methods but all were perfect according to their subjects they are teaching. All the teachers hold different personalities some were strict and some were frank and calm but all were perfect for their roles.
 

Placement Rating
PGDAV has an efficient Placement Cell which was loaded with talented students and teachers as their mentors who provide one the best offers for the students. Different companies were pitched in the college for placement offers like Deloitte, EY, WIPRO, BDO, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
I didn't opt for hostel in the college and as far I know there is no hostel facility in the PGDAV's campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
PGDAV's campus infrastructure is quite brilliant at some areas and below average also at other areas. As the ground and campus is well cleaned and always hygiene. But the Classes desks, boards, study accessories like projectors were not good at all. There were no hygiene in the toilet and washrooms of the college also that disgusted me very much.
 

Campus Rating
My PGDAV's campus life was quite good not because the crowd, clubs, and fests but with the friends I got in the college from my start, who stood by my side till the last day of our college. However, frankly speaking I didn't like the PGDAV's crowd and their fest as they were not well organised and no proper management was there.

    Overall Rating
    PGDAV College offers a decent academic environment along with a blend of extracurricular activities. The faculty is well in their subjects, especially in Commerce and Arts streams, which are quite popular here. While some teachers go the extra to help students, a few classes can feel mundane, but this is common in most DU colleges.     PGDAV is an amazing college. The faculty, infrastructure, and campus all are top notch. The library and the canteen are the sources of attraction and crowd.     PGDAV College was good. Most importantly it is a DU College so it carries value. And the sports were best there and the teachers were also good.
