Review of LPU, Jalandhar

Overall Rating
I graduated during the lockdown years. I wanted to live to North India for my higher studies. I was also very passionate about computers and technology. Lovely Professional University offers some the best curriculum and real life experience for an aspiring software engineer among all the private universities in India.
 

Academics Rating
Lovely Professional University has an entrance exam called LPUNEST which needs to be cleared for getting an admission in the university. The scholarship provided will depend on the marks scored in the LPUNEST entrance exam or the percentage of marks scored in twelfth class. The course will be very helpful in shaping my skills for the software engineering workflows of the future.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the professors at Lovely Professional University have at least a master’s degree in their domain subject. Many of them have Ph.Ds. The teaching standards are very average. Most the teachers cannot even teach without a power point presentation. But if you are lucky enough, you will get some teachers that have a gift for teaching.
 

Placement Rating
Many multinational and Indian companies conduct placement drives in the campus. For B.Tech students, placements start from the 6th semester.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel situation is very bad. The rooms are much overpriced for what they have to offer, and the facilities are also poor.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute has some of the best infrastructures in the private and even public university scene. There are plenty of classrooms and lecture halls. The university has an excess of computer labs, worksites, and skill development centers. Besides academics, the university has many playgrounds, sports arenas of all sorts.
 

Campus Rating
Life at Lovely Professional University is very exciting and engaging. The university conducts many festivals and activities throughout the year. The university also has a division of student welfare which operates many clubs. Clubs can conduct any sort of activities. People can even form new clubs if they wanted to.

It is ranked at the 10th position all over Asia. it is known for its undying prestige, helpful faculty, creative learning, cultural events, social and cultural diversity and much more.     My experience at Lovely Professional University is good taking all the parameters in attention. The university is very huge in size and we can see that it is eco friendly as there are many plants everywhere. The faculty members are also very good in providing and delivering the concepts that we need.
