I got around 32k rank in my JEE so, I got this in the 6th round of my JEE counselling. I locked it because I know Mathematics and Computing is the rapidly growing branch. In this college, I found some good and some bad things. The good thing is that there is so much greenery and peace. The weather is also nice but the locality of this college is so poor. There are so many connectivity issues with the Internet. The connectivity of this city is very poor from the PAN India.

I got Mathematics and Computing as the course. This course has 80% Mathematics, 20 % Computing that is also 90% Theory. So it has the biggest drawback is that it doesn't have much practical knowledge but it is very helpful for those who want to build their career as a Data Scientist/Analyst. The minimum Qualification is JEE Mains and my motive to enroll in this course is to build a career in Data Science. This course has various subjects like AI, DSA, and Graph theory but all of these are theoretical only.

The faculties of this course are not as good as expected. They have knowledge in the domain of Fuzzy Computing or, Algebra, but are not good enough to answer all questions. See if you go in any university, you will face this issue, so you have to study on your own. Maximum faculties in this course have Ph.D from this college itself and then they get placed here itself.

Yes, we have a placement cell in our college. They work hard to bring companies and work so that maximum students get placed but sometimes they get biased for upper branches like CSE, ECE, etc. In this college, many good companies come for placements like Microsoft, NVIDIA, Morgan Stanley, Zscaler, PhonePe, Google, etc. This college has an average package of 700000 LPA.

Yes, we have 5 hostels in our college 4 for boys and 1 for girls. 3 hostels are assigned for UG and PG courses and 1 assigned for Ph.D scholars.1st and 2nd year got sharing room of 2 and from 3rd year onwards we get a single room. We used to get filtered water, chilled water, mess, etc.

The Department buildings are good. Maximum departments are around 400-550 m apart. Some are far but that won't take a long time to reach. We have 3 gates of our college and the main gate is Gate-2 because a maximum number of students come from that gate only and the maximum rush is also outside that gate only.

College life for boys is good. They don't have any in-time restrictions but for girls, the in-time is 7:00 pm. They are not allowed to go after that time. the crowd of this college is descent(not more not less). We have different types of fests like cultural fests, tech fests, etc. We have the largest sports college among all NITs, so the college conducts different types of competitions, tournaments, and many more. There are different types of clubs like coding clubs, space clubs, robotics clubs, dance, and many more. Many students used to participate in club recruitment and try hard to be in the club's core team. All clubs conduct different activities throughout the year and students from different colleges come and enjoy these things.
