The first few days at VSSUT you will feel not so excited and feel like this college isn’t what I wanted, it’s what I came here as compromise to my dream. But with time, you will start merging in the environment, the college, the campus, the people, the life here is quite interesting and exciting. With time you will feel this life is a dream life. The campus here is quite wonderful, not so big but it’s well maintained and planned. The four years will bring you the most memorable days of your life, the friends, the people, the cherished moments, the seniors, everyone are quite friendly and energetic. The clubs in this college are also well recognised in the nation, including IIC, the club set up by ISRO, which tests VSLV and only student based Satellite model in India. Come here and then you will know what life is. The words can’t do justice to the life here.

To join VSSUT, one must have secured a respected rank in JEE mains or OJEE, here; the cutoffs are increasing year per year due to the demand of college. It includes 5 degrees in total, B.Tech, B.Arch, Int. M.Sc, Ph.D, and MCA. The courses, the study environment here is so light and cooperative. The college increases the scope of widening your knowledge.

The faculties here are quite friendly and helpful. The departments include highly qualified teachers and have best skills in delivering lectures. One who has interest and listens to the classes, there's no need to study anything else. Though some teachers are not very good, as in every college. But overall the faculties will develop your overall personality, not only particular subject.

Placements here are perfect as per beginners; every branch has proved its value in placement drives. The companies are approaching in huge numbers to hire people from VSSUT. If your academics result, personality and skills are brilliant to be feed in resume, you have a great scope of getting high packages and attract companies to hire you. The push you get here is hardly found in any college of the country.

The hostel experience is beyond imagination here, the food and bathroom are quite hygienic and healthy. But the days spent here will shape an individual to best of his life, the amazing people you'll meet here will always keep your mood uplifted and energized. The infrastructure is developing more and more to meet high demands of people. The rooms are well planned and spaced, people often complaint of their stay here at VSSUT. There are 7 hostels for boys and 6 for girls.

Infrastructure is developing because of the future plans of this college and the national interest here. The government of Odisha wants the institute to develop to a national level institute to fulfill national interest, the pride it has seek in the last few years are phenomenal. Within next few years, the infrastructure will develop more, making it an interest of people globally.

Campus life as I mentioned is one of the best in whole India. The interactions, people, space, canteen, garden, everything is first class. There are several clubs in the VSSUT enhancing you for your future endeavours. The fest in the colleges is no doubt the best in Odisha, the decorations, and the guests all are a treat to watch. The crowd is quite large here, more than 5000 people study here, that the craze of VSSUT. The programs conducted by the college throughout the year will help you grow more and more.
