A day at Thapar

Overall Rating
Thapar has a very beautiful campus with good people. The teaching faculty at Thapar is also very good they are very educated and helpful. They also do various research work and you can also help them in that. Overall studying at Thapar is a very good experience. The hostel and mess is also very good.
 

Academics Rating
Thapar is known in India for its academics. It has a very good curriculum and they keep on changing it as every industry needs. There are various programs carried by Thapar and for B.Tech, the entry is based on 12th board marks or JEE rank. You need to score around 98 percentile to get CSE branch in Thapar or 99 percentage in 12th board.
 

Faculty Rating
The teaching faculty at Thapar is also very good. They are very educated .They also do various research work and you can also help them there. They have an experience of more than 20 years and they have Ph.D degree from foreign universities also. They help you in every possible way as they can and they never disrespect you.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Thapar has its own placement cell. The average package of Thapar students is around 12 LPA and our placement cell is very good. They bring many famous companies like Google, Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase etc. If we talk about the placement percentage it is also very high and all the students get the placement there are no students that remain unplaced.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Thapar has a very good residential facility with very big hostels. They can accommodate thousands of students. Every hostel has its separate mess and the mess food is also very good. Also every room has air conditioners in it also there are water heaters.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Thapar has a good infrastructure whether we talk about classes or labs or hostels. Lab has all the necessary equipment. The classes are very good and there is wifi all over the campus. Library is also very big with thousands of book and it has a seating capacity of 700 students.
 

Campus Rating
Thapar has many clubs and societies you can join them easily. Also the fest of Thapar is well known in north India. There are various fest like Sports fest, Tech fest, and Cultural fest. Besides these there are also various events and functions that Thapar host. Overall the life at Thapar is very good and enjoy full.

One of the major factors that made me choose this university was its alumni network.     I am a first-year student at Thapar Univeristy and my experience has been actually good. My decision of opting for this University was good. The one and only problem with Thapar is actually the high fee structure but the teachers are good, seniors are really helpful, and there are many societies to join.     I had joined TIET, Patiala in July 2024. It has been only 3 months since I came here. The overall experience has been pretty good. I have been admitted into the Computer Engineering department.
