About the ZHDC life

Overall Rating
ZHDC is all about the balance between academic life and co-curricular activities. I was Zakirian so, from my point of view I loved my college life at Zakir Husain Delhi College. I did a Bachelor's in Zoology Hons from ZHDC, yaa it's somewhere true that fest at Zakir are really not that happening. But trust me besides that everything is just wonderful over there.
 

Academics Rating
Academic life at ZHDC is not that hectic and also not that relaxing, one can easily manage one studies along with the co-curricular activities. But definitely, you have to take your studies seriously. Because in my course there was a little bit of a hectic schedule. But I somehow managed to cope-up my studies.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties at ZHDC are just wow, literally I was amazed to see such supportive teachers and professors at ZHDC. Not only our professors but the other faculty too were very supportive and cooperative with the students. They used to treat the students in a very friendly way. In our department, the faculty were very polite and knowledgeable.
 

Placement Rating
ZHDC doesn't have good placement records like other DU colleges but definitely, there is a dedicated placement cell at ZHDC. The college conducts a job fair every year in the month of February, where many students get the chance to showcase their talent to different recruiters.
 

Hostel Rating
Unfortunately, there is no hostel life at ZHDC. Our college didn't have a hostel facility for students. There is no accommodation provided by the college to students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Definitely, our college has the best infrastructure amongst the DU colleges, ZHDC has different buildings for academics and different labs for different departments. Labs and Classrooms are enough spacious that occupy a decent number of students. Our college has an auditorium as well the accommodation is for more than 500 students.
 

Campus Rating
I have already mentioned that ZHDC doesn't have that many fests like other DU colleges used to have. But the fests they used to have are nice and one can enjoy with their friends there. Overall campus life at ZHDC is very nice and joyful. There are many different societies which conduct a lot many competitions for the students which engage them.

  • Delhi University's oldest college : Zakir Husain Delhi College
     

    Overall Rating
    Zakir Husain College is certainly not the most famous but one of the best colleges in Delhi University. It's been great fun to study here and take part in various activities. The college is in a prime location, and the nearest Metro Station is New Delhi Metro Station, which makes it easily accessible. Zakir Hussain DU runs in two shifts, morning and evening, so as a student, you get to experience both, Delhi-6 buzz in the morning and the nightlife of Connaught Place, which is right behind it.
