IGEC THE ULTIMATUM

Overall Rating
After 12th I appeared in jee mains and scored better percentile to get this college. I'm a mechanical engineering student and I love to share my experience with everyone. Firstly I was so scared about my college life and that was my first time out of home, but I was excited too. In my point of view, Indira Gandhi Engineering College is a great place to achieve your dream and learn engineering.
 

Academics Rating
If anyone wants to take admission in IGEC. I suggest you to score at least 60 percentile for IT branch and for other branches it will be not more than 60. This institute provides scholarship facilities for reserved categories. In my point of view the only mechanical branch in the whole institute that I love. We have experienced teachers and HODs who every time motivate the students to succeed in their lives.
 

Faculty Rating
There are only two branches that have proper faculty for better teaching and academic activities those branches was civil and mechanical engineering. The behaviour of the principal is not friendly he does not support students and doesn’t call any company on the campus to hire students.
 

Placement Rating
The average package was 3.5 LPA. The visit of the company is very less and this college doesn't have any good past placement for mechanical and civil branches. Only IT students who prepare well and are well-skilled that type of student get placed.
 

Hostel Rating
According to me, the hostel is good there are only 130 seats in the hostel. Rs 12000 are charged for six months of mess services that have good food quality and hospitality. The worst thing in hostel that I'm facing is no one cares about the hostel, a water purifier was busted last year but no one took action on this issue.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This is a large campus which is spread over 100 acres of land there are two blocks in the college. One is the civil block and the second is the science block. There is one workshop that busted a few years ago and the equipment in the workshop is not in working condition. The lab facility is not good. There is a big outfield cricket ground in the college where the students are organising inter-branch cricket tournament i.e. Holi Premier League etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very nice. Every year a college fest is organised by the college and students participate as much as possible. There is a BIS club in the mechanical department which organises many programs regarding the standard of materials or products, The crowd capacity is huge, every day 500+ students visit the college for their classes and studies.

I want Information Technology branch so I read many reviews on the internet and chose this particular college because the structure of fees is quite low and for the reserved category.     In my point of view, Indira Gandhi Engineering College provides a great opportunity to study for students who belong middle class and financial background. Due to the autonomous college fee structure is less and you need to pay only 25450 for a year of study.     In my opinion, this is an excellent college for study. It also has very good infrastructure and also has very good academics in this college. Very experienced faculty.     This college is amazing and you must take admission here for your Bachelor's degree in the technical field. The college is awesome and large infrastructure of around 35 acres of land. Quality of study was good and you love to study here according to my past 3 years of experience. Well-skilled facilities is in the college as well as the supporting administrative staff also there.     In the Mechanical branch at Indira Gandhi Engineering College Sagar, Professors have good experience. They have good teaching techniques. The institute is good. Lab condition is ok- ok.
