As a student at IIT Bombay, my experience has been nothing sort of a roller coaster ride. I have seen and experience everything here either it's enjoying in fests, studying a night prior to exams, everything. The institute's amazing faculty and vibrant campus life have shaped me profoundly. Weekdays are intense, but weekends offer a much needed break. The learning here cannot be expressed in words. The amazing placement opportunities make it a one stop solution for aspiring engineers.

I have pursued the B.Tech degree which is a 4 year course. Branches offers here are Chemical engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and more. The curriculum is a blend of theory, practical, and hands on industry experience. Courses are designed by faculty members, ensuring a solid foundation and adaptability to evolving knowledge. For taking admission here, students must have completed 10+2 (at least 75 % in PCM) with a JEE Advanced score within the institute's cut-off criteria.

Faculties at IIT Bombay are renowned for their expertise and dedication. They have diverse teaching styles, engagement and offering real-world insights. Accessible and supportive, they mentor students and provide research opportunities, enriching the academic environment and driving innovation. My personal experience with my faculty members was amazing. They were super helpful and nice.

Yes, we do have a placement cell at IIT Bombay. The Placement Cell serves as a crucial link between students and companies. It efficiently coordinates placements and internship opportunities. Almost 90% students get placed every year from my college. The average package stands at 22 LPA and the highest package stands at 3.67 crores for international offer.

IIT Bombay's hostel life offers comfortable, well-ventilated rooms with sharing arrangements varying from double to single seater. Safety measures include 24-hour surveillance in girl hostels. Basic amenities like beds, study tables, and cupboards are provided along with laundry facilities. The mess serves good-quality food curated by the Mess Council, ensuring a pleasant living experience.

IIT Bombay's academic blocks offer spacious, well-equipped classrooms, and advanced laboratories across various branches like Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. The Central Library has an extensive collection of books, journals, and research papers. State-of-the-art lecture halls help in interactive sessions and guest lectures. The campus also features a sports complex with facilities like tennis courts, basketball courts, a swimming pool, and a gymnasium. Cultural centres provide spaces for dance, music, drama, and art, while tech rooms offer robotics, coding, and tinkering labs for hands-on exploration.

At IIT Bombay, student clubs offer diverse interests like quizzes, tech projects, scrabble, public speaking, hobbies, wildlife, and swimming. The name of fests at my college is Mood Indigo, Social Fest, and Virasat. Hostel life initiates bonding through common rooms, gardens, and late-night chai sessions, with intra-hostel competitions adding to the excitement. The campus has modern facilities, a vast library, a sports complex, and scenic surroundings, making for a vibrant and enriching campus life experience.
