Overall Rating
Overall experience of this college is quite good because it is a state government university (by Punjab University). More or less its infrastructure is good. Environment is decent. It is a good one who wants to study in Punjab under Government University, that’s for them.
 

Academics Rating
Talk about academic then it is good why, because this university is more focusing on your academics studies with communication skills as well. University helps you for up skilling but you have to work very hard to achieve your goal. Because it's obvious that if you want a placement then you have to work hard along with your academics studies. You can get admission through counseling by filling the form from IKGPTU website. Eligibility after 12 (intermediate). If you score good percentage in your boards then you can get scholarship by the university.
 

Faculty Rating
Firstly the faculties of this university are well knowledge professors and their personality is very to all students. Mostly teachers have done Ph.D and some of our IITians also. Their style of teaching is very polite. Like our Dean and HOD sir is very humble and quite knowledgeable. He has done Ph.D in IIT. He teaches us in unique way.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our university has a Placement Cell. It helps students to acquire jobs in industry but it is not good.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel facilities in our university. We have three boys’ hostel and two girl’s hostel. Personally hostels are good in infrastructure and accommodation facilities. Each room has separate washroom in their room and balcony too. It’s containing Wi-Fi and lift also but they are not good. Two students are allotted in one room that is very good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our university infrastructure is decent. It has hostels, two academics building, one main building, one separate building for official work and lab practical, one gym, two auditorium, seminar hall, two girls hostel, one indoor stadium, one Library, study room separate, canteen, small shops, banks, cricket ground, volleyball ground, basketball ground, badminton ground, kabaddi ground, one herbal garden, two parks, one power house also, and fountain in main entrance. University is green and beautiful.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life in this university is good. They provide fests like freshers party, tech fest, entrepreneur fests, hackathon, coding competition, etc. In this college we have coding clubs, cultural club, NCC and NSS club, and sports club. We have sports fest every year that is inter college athlete competition.

    So, I joined this college thinking it would be a game changer for me, in one word college is average, but it turned out to be mix of good and okay experiences. Infra wise, the place is quite decent, we have well- maintained buildings, air-conditioned classrooms and a big library (open Monday to Friday 9-5 pm).     My overall experience is good here. This is a state government technical university so they provide scholarships to the students and that is why I chose this college. Its admission starts after the 12th result through online counseling. The fee structure is relatively more nominal compared to other universities.     The university was good as the infrastructure of the university was quite great. Every room had nice quality AC's. The teachers and the teaching methods were also good.     Overall my experience is going great here. This university provides a better environment for study. All teachers are good here and friendly. I'm student of 2022 batch and life is going on this campus is good till now. You should go for this college as it has many facilities like computer centres, well maintained seminar halls, a huge library, well maintained labs, and many more things.
