Overall Rating
Institute of Genetic Engineering has been a place of pride of Kolkata till 20 years. This college helps students to flourish in the future. The faculties always tried to solve student’s doubts. Every day the classes started on time also practical classes also taken very carefully. Students don't need to take tuition classes. The classes are enough to ignite knowledge.
 

Academics Rating
I am a BMLT student. Firstly students take science in 12th boards, specifically chemistry and biology this two subjects are very important for this course. After passed 12th boards, student should give CET exam. The exam mainly contains general knowledge of 11 and 12th classes question. After the result came student should apply in college for this course. This private course is very effective for every students to achieve their goals in the future. This course mainly gives students a secure job life.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very helpful and hard working. Every faculty takes their classes very carefully and solves every student’s doubts. My course is mainly a practical based course, so our faculties take our practical classes so well, thus, we don't need tuition outside. Faculties always cover our syllabus on time. And also our faculties show us a better path in our future life.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placements. Our placement procedure is also good. More than 95% BMLT students get their jobs in placement. Mainly placement happened in medical sectors like hospitals and labs. Our seniors were already placed their dream job.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel facility. There are boy’s hostels as well as girls hostel. The two hostel are very near to the college. I am not a hostel student so I can't tell the situation right now.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college has a BMLT lab which contains all the equipment like microscopes, gas chamber, ph meter, etc. which used in practical. Also we have genetic lab, microbiology lab, Chemistry lab, pathology lab, etc. All labs contain the best practical equipment. The library section is also good. Student should get books every time for one week by using their library cards. After that our college has a big ground outside of the college where every year annual sports happened.
 

Campus Rating
We have a fun campus life. In the college we get educational seminars, NCC classes, annual spots tournaments, as well as some functions like freshers and farewell. Also we have different societies like dancing society, drama, recitation, debate, quiz, etc. In culture program and sports day every students participate and shows their skill in various fields like badminton, chess, football, cricket, etc.
