It is a great place for academic excellence and great cultural richness. Despite of such a huge infrastructure with quiet good number of available courses. This college gives a strong foundation or base for students in their chosen field of interest. With a lot of festivals, sports, and other extracurricular activities, students are provided with a comfortable atmosphere for be educated in true manner. Despite of the tough study pressure, students are allowed to experience such a great college life which is worthy of everything.

This college is for the best to make them more than they were with excellent diverse academic offerings, expert faculty, and supportive environment. Science courses like mathematics, statistics, physics, chemistry, bio science, economics, etc. are offered with Bengali, English, etc. Though a good score in board exam is expected from the student, but admission is done on the basis of admission test conducted by the college itself. Though fees are little high as it is an autonomous private college but that's nothing with respect to the academic excellence the college provide to student.

No doubt this college has a fantastic faculty better than most of the colleges. Every department has enough faculty members who are either did master's or most cases Ph.D in their tropic of interest or sometimes more than that. Smart classes with the help of PowerPoint presentation or just hand written on board and extra classes if needed are provided by them. Anyone feel free to contact them with any doubt without being hesitated. In other words they are enough helpful irrespective of your performance to make you shine more than before.

We do have Placement Cell in our college which is indeed fabulous thing for needy students. Irrespective of a student is strong or not for job interviews, they help everyone a lot to make them ready to face any kind of interview. In case of placement in the respective companies it has a pretty good name. Every year quiet a lot of students get placed by the help of them with a salary of 5-10 LPA to even 30-40 LPA.

St. Xavier's College Kolkata provides hostel or residential facilities to outsider students and even needy students.

Without any doubt the college building is so satisfying to enhance the overall learning experience. The classes rooms are designed to facilitate interactive learning, even some classes are equipped with ACs which are just below the rooftop. College also provides high speed internet connection with great library and laboratory facilities. It has a vast size library building and many laboratories for specific needs.

No doubt despite of the study pressure, the campus life is so awesome which can't be explained properly until one experienced own self. Whole years passes with so many fests, events, sports, interesting seminars, etc. and besides of them, Xavotsav, our college festival, one of the biggest college festivals in north-eastern India. College campus never seems to be empty or students are found to be aimlessly moving around, always one can see something new something innovative is going on between each individual. In short, if one is serious about their study but also want to enjoy their college life, it's the best place to get both.
