Review of National Institute of Technology, Raipur

Overall Rating
This campus NITR has a average infrastructure. We can get into this college by clearing JEE mains. Here people from different places come so that we can enhance our speaking skills. But the library is too small that during our exams we don't even find place to sit inside and study. But we are issued with card to take books.
 

Academics Rating
The academic program for electronics and communication engineering is designed for four years. We have 8 semesters and every semester has 2 exams that we have to clear within the year. We have to pay an academic fee of 160000. We have to clear our JEE mains with the particular cut off range we can get into the college.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is quite well talented. They have finished them Ph.D from IITs and NITs. They have also finished their M.Sc or M.Tech. They teach us well. But the quiet and most common language used is Hindi. English is also used here but they mostly communicate in Hindi having the perception that majority of the students know it.
 

Placement Rating
The placements are too good. 75% of the students are placed. The highest package of this college is 1 crore per annum. Companies like Infosys come and recruit.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are poor. All the students are not allotted with hostel. Hostel is issued based on the merit basis. There will be a 4 sharer room. And 4 study tables are provided.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is not that satisfactory. We have a ground and courts are divided in it. We have a central garden and a left garden. Amul and vachan are good stalls present. The classrooms are wide enough for accommodation of the student’s proxy 100. There are air conditioners but they don't work. There a small garden inside.
 

Campus Rating
The clubs such as eclectika and sahayog are few clubs. They conduct many events like DJ night and celeb night. Sports events are conducted be Samar. We can enjoy a lot after coming here. However it is a privileged college at the end. Many events like speeches and quizzes are conducted and many prizes are distributed.

    Overall NIT RAIPUR is a good college if you are not getting any other NIT than this or any top branch in Private colleges. In case you are a general candidate and scored above 98%ile then you can go for its CSE or IT branch and this number get closed to around 96%ile for the Mining branch.     This is my 2nd year in this institute, and I must say that my decision to join this institute was absolutely right. Since I am from Chhattisgarh, it was not difficult for me to adjust in this environment and travelling was also very convenient. My 1st year in the institute was amazing.     National Institute of Technology is one of the oldest engineering institute of India which is located at the mid of Raipur city. It was initially Regional Engineering College of India. It is located just 2km away from Raipur junction which makes it more preferable. It has NIRF ranking of 71 in 2024.     National Institute of Technology is one of the most reputed Institute of India which offers various program like B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, Ph.D, M.Sc, etc. It has NIRF ranking of 71 in year 2024. It is a government Institute which is run under the ministry of higher education. The admission process is done by JOSSA which is based on the marks obtains in JEE main examination.     I wanted to get admission in mechanical engineering and I found mechanical engineering of NIT Raipur good and old. After research I found professor’s qualification and support to be fascinating.
