It’s among the best 10 colleges in Kolkata. As I am from commerce stream, it’s also famous for best among the commerce college. It is also a merit based college, everyone have to take admission by their 12th percentile. Overall good college, the faculty member and office member are very helpful. Teachers are very friendly and helpful as well as our seniors also. Everyone will get all the notices through mobile, if any query everyone will stand beside you. Attendance is 60% it is mandatory. Thus makes it good for a student to choose this college if one doesn't get tier 1 college.

The entry requirement is its 12th percentile above 90%. The eligibility varies from stream to stream as I am from commerce the eligibility should be having accountancy or anyone from economics should have math in 12th. Of course the motive is to study more as college doesn't matter, what matters is their perseverance, consistency, dedication, knowledge and skill.

Faculty members or the teaching staff is very nice. They teach us in such a beautiful way and are very down to earth. They also teach in staffroom if we have a query. All the professors are highly qualified and are from specialized background. Thus one will be overwhelmed by their teaching techniques.

Yes there is a placement cell, but better not to expect any placement. The companies are very small or the newly opened companies.

No hostel facilities are provided by our college.

Campus is very small but the building is like old parliament which is traditional and aesthetic. The infrastructure is not so good, poor fan and light, the windows are broken, ceiling broke sometimes due to which it is a little dangerous. There is a library, computer lab and the entire science lab in the college. Canteen facility, union room, and gym room is also available.

The campus is small. Yeah it’s crowded as there are a lot of students studying here. Yeah there are many clubs that organises many fests like Sangrila (this year Darshan Raval came), Basanto Utsav, fresher’s party and many more. Also many intercollegiate competitions are also organised in the college.
