My College - Kalyani Government Engineering College

Overall Rating
This college is a top college in west Bengal. It is affiliated by AICTE under MAKAUT Board. This college provides admission on the basis of rank in WBJEE exam. The reason why I choose this college is the lowest academic fees and hostel fees.
 

Academics Rating
My course is Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication. In this course have many opportunities to get a job in a good company. You can also get government jobs with this course. The entry requirements is WBJEE exam, by getting a good rank in this exam you can take admission in this college. Eligibility is 12th pass with Mathematics, Physics, and chemistry. The main motive of enrolling in this program is to get a good job and learning more about this field.
 

Faculty Rating
My college has qualified faculties and they have experience of many years. The faculties are recruited by Government of West Bengal under a lengthy process. The eligibility of the faculty is that they must have done M.Tech and Ph.D in their respective branches. The faculty members are very friendly with the students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell at our college.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in our institute. The hostels are provided to only few students according to their financial condition. Wi-Fi connection is available in the hostels. The hostel food is of good quality.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college has a good infrastructure like separate academic block, departmental block, library blocks and guest blocks. The structure of our college is very gorgeous and it has a beautiful campus with a large area. The buildings are very clean, large, and fantastic. The library contains many books related to technical subjects.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is always active and full of crowd. In our college we have many clubs like music club Riyaz, Dance club Rock, literature club litmus, Robotics club Robotics society, and many more. Our cultural college fest name is Espektro is the largest college fest in West Bengal.

    I appeared for WBJEE and according to my WBJEE rank I got admission in this particular college. I got selected in the first round and at the second round of counseling I upgraded my department from ECE to IT.     Kalyani Government Engineering College is best college for B.Tech degree. Everyone can join for their graduation degree from any department. Best faculties are here. Placement opportunities are decent especially in non-tech branches as well as campus life is very good. Hostel life is best here.
