My memories in DCRUST

Overall Rating
This university in on no. 3 in Haryana following NIT Kurukshetra and YMCA Faridabad. I am in the Agriculture B.Tech department and this department is not well maintained and the rating is below average. If you want to go for degree in agriculture then first try for CCSHAU Hisar.
 

Academics Rating
In one semester there are two minor tests of 15 marks each subjects and after that end sem exams. In this university if you want to take the admission firstly you have to give the JEE exam and score good marks. You will get branch as per your JEE mains score. The left over seats are filled on 12th basis.
 

Faculty Rating
In this university agriculture branch has below average faculty. There are very less faculty members in department. Generally for classes we are told to sit with other branch students to complete our syllabus because of less availability of teachers. Some time even when teachers are available, they are not assigned classes.
 

Placement Rating
There are average placements in this university.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good. Rooms are moderate. The environment is very good. Hostels are full of greenery.
 

Infrastructure Rating
All branches of this university have its own block. Smart classes are also available. Lifts are always on maintenance. University has big auditorium for cultural and extra co-curriculum activities. And yes library is very good and big reading hall is available for students. Overall this university has above average infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
In this university campus life is good. All necessary things are available in campus area like food facilities, stationary facilities, and grocery facilities. SBI bank is also in campus area. The University is outspread over an area of 270 acres. The university is only six kilometer away from city market. It is an advantage.

    I have taken admission in this college by HSETES counseling last year. This college suits my personality as it provides me ample of time to discover the new discoveries. There is no strict attendance criteria for my branch and additionally there are various public holidays and weekends. This makes this college a place for the student who wants to take preparation of different government examinations.     The reason why I chose this particular university is because its fees structure is quite affordable, also it is a government university. It has good faculty and good facilities like huge lavish library, sports facilities, labs, etc. It provides hostel facility and food at an affordable cost.     The college is not good but the cons and pros differ from individual to individual. If you talk about it in a slightly balanced way as it is under the Govt. of Haryana and funded by Govt.
