Sister Nivedita University B.Sc Agriculture Review By Ajay Kumar

I have taken admission in 2021 batch in my course B.Sc agriculture. I have spent almost 3 years in this college. According to me this university provides a pleasant weather for students and it mainly focuses on the practical knowledge of the students. It is under techno India it has huge infrastructure and ground is covered by the garden with a beautiful statue of sister Nivedita at the center of the college. Canteen facilities and some food courts startup are leading in our college. There are too many functions in the college almost in every week some event of fest is organised in the college. Overall experience is best in this college.

I am a B.Sc agriculture student in this college. Faculty member are all Ph.D graduate from a reputed university. And all class rooms are converted in smart class and mainly focus on field practical. I got this college through WBJEE and you can also enroll by giving some donation in the college. Eligibility is that the student should have science background weather math or bio all are eligible. The main motive for enrolling was to focus on our farmers and the agriculture sector and the different ways that can be used for developing this sector.

Our faculty member contains almost 20 teachers including the dean. All the faculty members are graduated from the reputed university BCKV. And our dean has a vast experience in water management he worked in Uganda. Our entire faculty member is very kind. They always help the students in all possible manners. Their style of teaching is formal. They use different types of languages like Hindi, English and Bengali to teach so that all students will access the knowledge in equal manner. Out of 20, 3 of the teacher are helping hand in our practical exams.

Yes we have a placement cell in the college. I know some of companies are in touch with our faculties. But in computer science department there are many companies like Amazon, Infosys, Tata, Facebook, and more who arrive for interviews and recruits students.

Yes our institution has some residential facility like hostel but according to me the level of fee structure is very much high almost 12k and food is like ok types. And institute provides bus facility to the hostel student for transport.

The university has huge infrastructure with a green garden in the center of the university there is a statue of sister Nivedita. All departments are separated floor wise like CSE 2nd floor, Agriculture 6th floor and many more. There are two buildings of SNU. At the ground floor university has a central Library. And other amenities like basketball court at the side corner. Canteen and food courts are also available at the campus.

My campus life is so much memorable I have made new friends in the campus. I enjoyed a lot in campus events and many more activities like cricket at the ground will always be the best memory of my life. Campus has huge amount of crowd. I enjoyed a lot in this campus. University organises an event in every week.
