All About KIET Group of Institutions

Overall Rating
My overall experience at the college campus is good. My seniors are really helpful and the connection that one can make here is really broad. The academic curriculum is a bit old and tough but the faculty tends to teach with new modern tech. The campus life is fun and has everything one can ask for in a B.Tech college. It is one of the finest colleges among other private colleges regarding academic and fees.
 

Academics Rating
The curriculum is old and tough but the faculty members are really helpful and we get to learn a lot from the experienced seniors and tech clubs which are in the college giving exposure and experience for the industry work. My branch is upcoming boom in the IT sector which led me to choose this branch particularly. Eligibility for this course is PCM and aggregate of 60 percent.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is a team of Ph.D professors; they are masters of their own kind. They have a different style of teaching. The course is newly introduced hence not all equipment is available during practicals but mostly, everything is available in the lab. The computer staff is also really nice. They all hail from CSE background and the connections are also good.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are available and the Placement Cell helps in every possible way. The core students are given exposure to the industry while CSE students are groomed for interviews and internships. Internship opportunities are also available from companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is like any other hostel with facilities of mess, laundry, AC, and a community hall with TV, etc. The warden is strict with timings. The hostel food is average. Girls’ hostel is also available with 8 pm being last call for gate closing.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is really small as compared to other colleges but games like football, cricket, basketball, and lawn tennis are available. There are 4-5 buildings with 5-6 storeys and labs. 3-4 cafes are available inside the campus, which are open 24/7. Central library is available and open for hostellers all day. Gym facilities are also available inside the hostel and billiards pool, shooting range, etc. are available.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd is awesome with clubs and activities. Annual fest is held in spring season with cultural activities and DJ nights. There are more than 30 clubs to choose from including tech clubs, dramatics, singing, dancing, etc. Sports clubs are also present which represent the college team. Events occur frequently (every 2 months) while the teams go to other colleges also to compete. Hackathons and tech fest also occur frequently to encourage coding skills.

    Currently, I’m in the first year of my college. My overall experience in KIET till now has been decent. The campus size is small with about 18 acres. But the facilities provided here are quite satisfactory, whether it comes to the hostels, campus facilities, infrastructure, cleanliness etc. all are up to the mark. Talking about academics, like many other institutions the academic life is hectic starting from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the evening. Co curricular and cultural activities are held often....     KIET is a prestigious college in NCR. KIET has better placements than most of the other private colleges in NCR and the faculty of KIET are experienced. If you want an overall good college, then you can choose this college because it has some extracurricular activities other than studies like extra sessions for coding and learning about technology....     Hello folks I am studying in KIET Group of Institutions and it are my first semester here. What I have seen in the 5 month in my college is that the KIET college is majorly focused on the academics. They want to maintain each and every student’s SPGA.     The overall review of my KIET engineering college. The college is well and good in terms of academics, in term of placements and also in term of facility and faculties.
