College with the best infrastructure!

Overall Rating
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology is a private college and falls under Mumbai University. One with average percentile can easily get admission in VIT Mumbai through online process. For an engineering college, this college has a good management. Vidyalankar College Wadala has got decent rankings for its education and facilities provided. The ETRX & EXTC branches have received NBA accreditation. It is said that rest of the branches will soon be accredited too.
 

Academics Rating
I took up Electronics and Telecommunication for my degree course. The course subjects are based on the University of Mumbai and so they were apt as per my knowledge. Pursuing your engineering from here will definitely get you into a reputed company before you pass out or even after you are out of the college. I was interested in this stream and so I opted for EXTC engineering. But it is said that this college is best for biomedical engineering, in case you’re looking for a biomedical deal you’ll have a great experience here.
 

Faculty Rating
Some faculty members are extremely great. But a few are arrogant and so I stayed away from them. Most of the faculties are freshers and learn while they teach. I’ve had tough time understanding a few subjects, while for the final year, I had to go for extra coaching classes. I would say the faculty is quite average and one needs to learn to work hard towards self-study.
 

Placement Rating
If one scores well, there are 100% chances to get placed in good companies. Vidyalankar Institute of Technology Placements average salary package offered is Rs. 3.5 to 4L and I guess the highest package bagged is of a whopping Rs. 35L. If you’re a part of the student council, you’ll be prepared well for in terms of personality development and other curricular activities. Maximum percentage of students gets placed in good companies before passing out from final year.
 

Hostel Rating
This college does not have a hostel. But generally, students come from Mumbai itself so there’s no need of hostel. The college is located in Wadala which is easily accessible by train or bus. Both local railway station and bus stop are near by the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
VIT Wadala has one of the best infrastructures. The college building is excellent. The library is quite big with a collection of many good books and a ton of reference books. The labs are also well-equipped having all the required facilities for performing experiments. There’s an exclusive study hall open for students to study in peace from 8am to 8pm.
 

Campus Rating
Vidyalankar Wadala is a good college having a lot of amenities. But despite all that the campus life is so-so. It is not that happening as compared to other big engineering colleges in Mumbai. I did not enjoy much as my friends did in their respective engineering colleges.

    Just one word…‘FANTASTIC’. My one year at vidyalankar was fantastic in every aspect. This Institute has very supportive faculty who guides us at every point of time with every difficulty that we face. It has the best state of art infrastructure so far.     VIT is one of the top colleges in Mumbai. With great teaching and non teaching staff it helps the student to align with the goal and work towards it.
