My College review on Academy of Technology

Overall Rating
I want to share the reason for choosing this college. I choose this college because the college is strict and the teaching method used here is better than other colleges. The campus is so big. The placement rate is very good. And one main thing is that the college distance from my house is less than the other engineering colleges.
 

Academics Rating
The course takes 4 years to complete. It's a B.Tech degree, after that you can go for placement means you can get a job or if you wish you can go for higher study also. If you want to get a job in earlier age then it's a very good choice to enroll in this type of course.
 

Faculty Rating
At first I want to say the teaching method is average. There are different types of department in our college and there is different faculty for each department. I'm from electronics and communication engineering department and the faculty members of this department is very helpful. Some faculty members are Ph.D holders and others have M.Tech degree. They are also from engineering domain.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the college that organises various seminars and activities related to placements. They also provide trainings to the students for making them placement ready.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are besides our college campus. The hostels are big. And there are two types of hostel, one is for the girls and another one is for the boys. Food is also available in hostel. You have to pay for hotels living and foods also. The food taste is average and there is staff for cleaning the hostel. The hostel area is peaceful.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is big and there are different blocks for different departments. There are different blocks for doing practical and project work. In college, library is also available and you can go there any time. In addition to this, various computer labs and other labs are also present in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is chilling. The friends and faculty are helpful. There are no clubs in the college. The main fest name is "Arcadia”, it is organised in the month of April or May. Techtrix is a technical fest that is also organised in the college.

    This college offers good placements with the minimum fees of Rs.4 lakh for 4 years which is around 1 lakh per year. This college offers good courses for B.Tech like Computer Science Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Computer Science with Business System and other departments.     Academy of Technology (AOT) is situated in Adisaptagram, Hooghly, West Bengal.It is very close to the Adisaptagram railway station.AOT shares a very big campus area compared to the other engineering colleges of West Bengal.The Faculty members of this college are very helpful.
