Overall Rating
Asansol Engineering College is a very good Engineering College located in Asansol. Its infrastructure is well maintained. Currently I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE, and I am in 2nd year. I have scored a good rank in WBJEE that made me get admitted in this college. According to my experience, if you are a newbie to the technical world, then this college is very good.
 

Academics Rating
In Asansol Engineering College you will get the admission through WBJEE, JEE mains, or directly also. There are many courses available like B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, BCA, BBA, and even M.Tech also. For the B.Tech in CSE you will get admission through WJBEE if you rank is below 35K. CSE is a highly demanding course in the current decades so I have chosen this course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of Asansol Engineering College are very nice. Truly speaking, almost all the faculty members are very helpful and informative. They guide students in their studies and other activities also. The only thing is that you should give respect to the faculties. If you are working on a project then the faculty members will help you to do your work and guide you to make the project better.
 

Placement Rating
The placement scenario is good in the college. There is Training and Placement Cell in the college which targets every student can be placed. Every year almost 70 to 80% students are placed.
 

Hostel Rating
Since I am a day scholar and I live near to the college, I don’t have any personal experience of the hostel facilities. Though what I hear from my friends is that the mess food is not up to the mark.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Infrastructure of Asansol Engineering College is very well maintained. There are almost 5 to 6 buildings, which are very well maintained. There is a library which contains more than 1 lakh books. There is a basket ball court and a football ground. Also there is an Amphi-theater where various cultural programs are organised. There is also a canteen where you can get your daily meal.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very memorable. If you are a bit friendly you can easily form a circle which makes your college memories sweeter. There are almost 6 K students. The juniors and seniors are also very friendly to each other. There are many clubs inside the college like Hardware Club, Tech Club, Robotics Club, Science Club, and many more. Fest occurs once in a year which is centralised, and apart from this many program are organised by the students only with the permission of the concerned authority.

    Asansol Engineering College completed its 25 years last year. This college has awesome faculty members with a well-maintained library. The faculties are very good and have good teaching experience. Also along with academics the college also has good records in sports and extracurricular activities.     Asansol Engineering College is one of the best colleges in West Bengal. You can get admission here by the entrance examination like WBJEE and JEE.
