Gokhale memorial Girls’ College is one of the finest and top rated college of Kolkata situated in Bhowanipore under University of Calcutta. It is more famous for the Psychology and English department. It only provides Bachelor's of Arts General and Honours and Bachelor's of Science General and Honours Degree. The college provides a mesmerizing academical ambience along with the high qualified professors. It also has a canteen. The library is also easily accessible. The classrooms are well decorated and some classes are also air-conditioned. The campus is not so big but the college overall is totally worthy.

Gokhale memorial Girls’ College provides the best academical perspectives in every aspects. Starting from the professors to their way of teaching everything is so perfect and is what one could ask for. Psychology and English department has the best popularity throughout the college. It is totally English medium but if someone wants to pursue in Bengali version on their minor courses they can easily pursue that and the professors will totally help in that case. The library also is the best part which provides easy access so that students can study there. This also has online access.

As I have described earlier Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College has the best Professors/ Faculties. All the faculties of all departments are highly educated & maximum of them are NET, SET, M.Phil, and Ph.D qualified. They all have teaching experience for many years starting from 2 years to the 10 years maximum.

Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College also has a Placement Cell where often they conduct placement meetings & career related seminars. TCS, Microsoft, Google, etc. companies every year held the placements here. Students of Gokhale every year gets selected and secures a job in any of this.

Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College does not offer hostel facilities. But near the college premises a lot of hostels are available where a lot of students stay by rent. It has never been a big factor for the students as there are a lot of options of hostels and PG.
