Raghunathpur College is government college in Purulia. My overall experience about Raghunathpur College is so good. I study Philosophy Honors in this college. I choose this college because the college teachers are highly educated and experienced. And I choose philosophy honors because I want to study this specific subject.

In this college many courses are available. In science background student can study in Mathematics honors, Physics honors, Chemistry honors, Zoology honors, Botany honors. In arts backgrounds student can study in History, Geography, Philosophy, Bengali, English honors and some other department. For entry in this college the students must have passed in higher secondary education. Online admission forms are released by the college and counseling is also conducted during the admission process.

We can freely discuss our problems with the faculty members. All teachings staff is highly educated and experienced. Most of the faculty members have done M.Sc.

Raghunathpur College has three buildings. Each department has its own classrooms and different laboratories are also present in the college. All classrooms contain like sixty to seventy student. This college has a big library which contains many books and it also has a study room. Various indoor games are also played in the college.

The environment of the college is good. This college has a big playground. Cultural programs like teacher’s day, freshers welcome, and farewell programs and so on are organised in the college. Many sports events are also organised in the college. The students can participate in these events as per their interest.
