Brief Knowledge about CEM, Kolaghat

Overall Rating
It is a private college under WBPDCL. As my rank is high so I got It. Now this college placement is also poor. If you get other college you can go there. I am not able to carry more than 3.6 lakh so I came here.
 

Academics Rating
I think when you come for the first time in the college then it good, but academic structure is not good. In the college there are academic building and admission building. The Academic building has many classes and teachers. It has categorized wise departments.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty will carry a lot of responsibility for the institute; yes here some faculty is good and not bad. All faculty members are helpful and always give notes and provide data regarding syllabus. They will help personally. I got help from them like a private tutor honestly they are helpful.
 

Placement Rating
No, placements are not good. After lockdown this college placement also bad. Last year only some students got placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel infrastructure is big but food quality is not good. Security guard always here and important thing for first year there are some rules to obey like discipline, taking meal on time, etc. Girls are not allowed to wear short dress and they can't visit every where every time they should sign on guard table book.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Now come to infrastructure review, so there is a big library for this we should pay 6000 for one time to use till 4th year. Here we can easily issue our nursery books by library card. It also has a reading room. I often use it to access high level books. Teachers always helped me to clear my doubts. They also provide notes.
 

Campus Rating
It is a big campus but you can see a lot of trees here. So, I think look like a forest not a college campus.

    Overall, the college life is good. You have to study well if you want to get good marks in semester exam. But, I will suggest you to take admission in other colleges like IEM, Techno India university, etc. if you want to study Computer Science Engineering branch as these colleges provides you much better infrastructure and placement accuracy....     It was a pretty good experience in college in 1st year. I don't want a college far away from my home and I thought that College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat is the best choice for me. In CEMK, we can play so many sports which I liked. The college campus is pretty big and beautiful, It is covered with trees.... Read Full Review

    I choose this college as almost 90% of the students this program have got placements. The highest package goes from 13 LPA to 14 LPA. The average package offered in our course is 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. A lot of students do get internships from our college. I don't remember the exact percentage, but students do get into internships from our college.... Read Full Review

    First of all I came to this college through WBJEE (WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION) rank that was 25411. The college is not so far from my home. So I choose this college to do my engineering and I had heard good reviews from my relative who had passed out from this college information technology department.
