You will get admission via WBJEE counseling for B.Tech and for BCA and BBA it will be based on your 12th marks. Management quota is also present for admission you can take through it. Talking about faculty, the faculty is good and helpful. But you have to do your own study if not you will face issue in semester. Attendance 75% they say is mandatory. Some faculties are very serious with attendance. There is no ac in classroom. ACs is only in labs and function hall. The ground is small but in middle of salt lake it is quite big. College life is good. Fest, function, co-curricular activities, etc. happen actively. There are multiple clubs which you can join. Talking of placement yeah it is good. If you work hard you will surely get it. If planning to take admission I would say go for it! But if capable of Govt. colleges then surely try.

In Academics college is good. It will provide you with book, study material, seniors are helpful. Multiple exams are held which will help you in practicing for semester. Lab is important for B.Tech student as it add marks in semester. If you fail then you will get a year lag. Internals are held in quite a good gap you will get a good practice.

Faculties here are educated and good. They are very helpful; if you have doubt just go to them they will explain quite well. They provide with study material but you should be disciple in class which is quite important. Some faculties are rude as usual but all over it is a good ratio of good faculty.

Infrastructure is good. Not as massive as u would expect a college but in a place like salt lake the campus is quite big. There are lifts present in B.Tech building, so you would face no issue for going to class. But yes during exams a lot students assemble then it gets difficult. 2 grounds are present for sports and all labs are also present with good equipments.

Campus life is very good. As there is no ragging at all in the college. All the seniors are very friendly and helpful; if you see any issue just contact them. There is an anti ragging committee present. There are several clubs which are for co-curricular activities, they will introduce you at the starting if u are interested just give interview and join. Fest takes place each year and also several functions also happen. Overall speaking it is good.
