My overall review for Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women is great. Apart from campus and infrastructure, everything else is good and as needed. Placements are also good here .For enjoyment they host a cultural fest Taaranganaa, Diwali fest jhilmil, and tech fest innerve. Faculty is kind and helping.

Being a girl’s college, admission in IGDTUW is not as difficult as other Government Engineering colleges or IIT's. But still you need a good rank in JEE Mains. There is a home state quota for Delhi students as well. University offers all the major courses like B.Tech in CS, CS-AI, ECE, ECE-AI, AI-ML, MAE, IT and other courses like B.Arch, BBA, MBA, M.Tech, etc.

All the faculties are highly qualified. Most of the professors are pursuing or have completed their doctorates. Teachers are supportive and helping. Faculty here guide in various activities other than academics. Most of the teachers provide study material before exams which really help in preparation.

Yes, there is a placement cell (named T & P), they invite many companies to visit the campus for recruitment. Internship and placement record is good.

There are 2 hostels Krishna hostel and Kaveri hostel which are allotted to outside Delhi students. The hostels have their own mess and they also organize some fun events for students.

Infrastructure is not as good. There are just 4-5 academic blocks in the university i.e. IT block, CSE-ECE block, MAE block, Exam block, Administration block. Classrooms are very less. All the students of branches CSE, CSE-AI, ECE, ECE-AI, IT, AI-ML, MAE, B.Arch, M.Tech, and other management courses have to adjust. In case the teacher wants to take extra class, they could not due to unavailability of vacant room. During lunch time or breaks students do not get place to sit. Library is very small, students have to wait in the ground for any classroom to get empty so they can go and sit.

Area wise campus is very small; there is only one small ground which is shared with Ambedkar University. Canteen is not like other colleges canteen, it’s just like a shop from where we can get some snacks or junk food. There are many societies in the university like tech societies, eco clubs, dancing, singing, drama and fashion societies, etc. Students can easily get into these societies and have good time here. The university organises fests 3 times a year one is annual cultural fest, diwali fest and a tech fest in which many famous artists are invited. Annual fest taarangana is the best day of the year, this year they invited singer Shaan Mukherjii for the concert, also previous years Neeti Mohan, Javed Ali, Darshan Raval and many more artists have visited to perform.
