Best institution for pure science

Overall Rating
Institute is great for science lover; personally I loved biology so I choose science as my career and joined IISER Pune. Select IISER Pune only if you are science enthusiast otherwise you will feel bore here because everyone here is very passionate about their work. Here you will discover real science though pure research.
 

Academics Rating
Academic is good, professor are very well qualified and friendly. Course structure is very good. They timely organize seminars, quiz project etc. You will love the academics if you love science. Academic also allow students to do projects in semester. For entry in this program you should have good rank in JEE or KVPY or IISER test or NEET. This course is for pure research in science and learning science.
 

Faculty Rating
Facilities here are top researchers. They are expert in their fields, and they are well qualified. IISER Pune has one of the best faculty team. For example, Deepak Dhar who won the Boltzmann medal in physics for India. Faculties are student friendly. You can do projects with them or discuss you subject related problem with them. You are always to discuss any thing.
 

Placement Rating
No, there is no placement cell it's not a engineering college it's a science college people go for Ph.D not for job.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is good need little bit upgrading in lift and washroom facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is one main building and one lecture complex building that we used go for classes. We have big library in main building. Also we have separate physics, chemistry, biology departments which also include labs. Labs are good, it also have computer lab, many places are available for self study, and it also has cricket stadium, football ground and indoor stadium for sports.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very nice; here all students are interested in science they talk about science with each other. They also enjoy their live by doing various things like dancing, singing, acting etc. And area around IISER Pune is very nice since all know Pune is very nice place to live. It’s a youth city.
