A honest review by an outsider student

Overall Rating
I'm a student of Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management of B.Tech course. I’m currently studying in 3rd year 6th semester. I gave JEE MAINS exam but my rank was not good enough to get a reputed college so I decided to take admission in this college. My overall experience is good. It has a good infrastructure and big campus. The placements are average here. My overall experience is average not good. My college is affiliated to Indraprastha University which is semi government but my college is private.
 

Academics Rating
My college offer different kind of academic courses like B.Tech, BBA, M.Tech, MBA and more. I’m studying in B.Tech course so I can give the brief knowledge about the B.Tech course. The entry requirements to take admission are three ways one is through JEE MAINS exam and second is IPU CET and third is through donation. In my college many of the students took admission through donation. My motive to take admission in this college is to be a good engineer and get a good placement.
 

Faculty Rating
In my course mostly every subject has different kind of faculty. Most of the faculty members are very supportive. They always try to help us in academic to improve our scores in internal and external examination. Their teaching style is very different. In my college most of the teachers are Ph.D holders and some of them have also done M.Sc.
 

Placement Rating
Yes my college has a training and placement cell. They help the students in getting placed. Many students from our college are placed in highly reputed companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are not available in the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
My college campus is one of the biggest campuses in my university. It has an area of 6-7 acres. My campus is a green campus. The academic blocks of my college are newly built. In my college, library and classroom facilities are very good. We have halls that are used for organising events and the overall infrastructure of the college is good.
 

Campus Rating
To be honest my college campus life is not very interesting. We are not allowed to walk in the park. My overall campus life is not good. College has too much crowd during fests but there is a very less crowd in the college during classes. Different clubs and societies are present in the college that helps the students in showcasing their talent. Sometimes, guest’s speakers are also invited for delivering speeches.

    Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta former known as Northern Engineering Institute Of Technology is an average college affiliated with IPU. You can’t compare it with IIT but it is okay. You can proceed further towards your aim journey. This college is average and you can achieve being placed at a good place from this college. There is enough guidance here.... Read Full Review

    Excellent infrastructure with good faculty co-coordinators. The institute is academically good as well and the labs are well-maintained. The connectivity is from Kashmere Gate metro station. The placements are average but overall the institute is good. The HODs and the Administration Cell are helpful so there is no such problem.... Read Full Review

    Everyone knows that IP Institutions will never be their first pick for college in their career. However, if you ever end yourself at an IP Institution, particularly for B.Tech, welcome to this world. Currently, pursuing B.Tech at ADGIPS is an unusual experience. If you did not score well in JEE and do not want to take a drop-year, you can select this college. In my experience, practically all IP Colleges, with the exception of MAIT, are identical.
