This is a state government college and the infrastructure is not that much good but in this phase it's under renovation so if someone is joining in 2026 to 2027 then probably the renovations would have been completed. Getting into the teachers and curriculum I would rate it 5 out of 10. Most of the teachers are good and helpful in nature (except few). The curriculum is very strict and you won't get any further time after classes for your other hobbies and work. Although Saturday and Sunday are holiday but you will get a lot of assignments to complete. I got a decent rank in JEE and for that rank the best college available was this one. And for home state quota I got an extra edge so I selected this college for my further studies.

If you are joining B.Tech then you have to clear the minimum cutoff marks in JEE or OJEE (priority is JEE). If you have category reservations then you will get this college even at a very low percentile. The placements in CSE are really good but not in the core branches. So if placement is your target, then go for CSE and it branches.

Faculties here are really good though. But you will face difficulty dealing with few of them. But others are helpful and will listen to your problems and help you accordingly. Some of them are Ph.D and higher degree holders, whereas some of them are not that much qualified. You will face trouble in few subjects as some teachers are not that much interested in teaching (or maybe they don't have such expertise and experience).

As I have mentioned placements are decent. In CSE, the highest package was nearly 50 LPA but in mechanical highest was nearly 15 LPA. So it varies from branch to branch.

Yes, the college does have its own hostel for boys and girls separately. The hostels do have basic facilities like water purifier, gym and laundry in the hostel. But you will rarely get a hostel in 1st year as there are very less number of rooms compared to student intake capacity of college.

Infrastructure is not that good. The classrooms are not that good and seats are not comfortable at all. There is no dedicated library building for the students. There is only a small room dedicated for library and another room for reading area. Toilets are old and dirty and most of them have broken flush and toilet seats.

The overall campus life here is very hectic and you will get very less time to enjoy. You can join different clubs as per your interest but in some of them you will have to pay a little entry fee. The college is crowded and the fests are not that big. The annual fest is decent though. If you are in to sports then you can participate in the engineer's cup (you will have to pay for it).
