I’ve had some best memories in my college campus!

Overall Rating
Seeing at my lower percentile in my diploma course I was a bit scared whether I would get admission in any good college or not. I was very happy when I got a seat in Pillai HOC College of Engineering. One can also get a seat through management quota in this college.
 

Academics Rating
I was very passionate about joining an engineering course. It did not matter which course it was, so I got into electronics and telecommunication engineering as it was said that there’s scope. The subjects covered under this course were as per my expectations. I learned things right from the basics in chronological order. The knowledge gained from these subjects was more than enough for me to grab a job in a good company. I was happy to get a job in core electronics company.
 

Faculty Rating
My faculty taught us with great interest and dedicatedly. Though we had a maximum faculty members from the ME batch, the lecturers taught pretty well. A few faculty held a PhD degree as well. I was glad to have a nice bonding with the faculty. That helped me study in a better way. I think the maximum experience of the professors there was around 20 years.
 

Placement Rating
We had a few IT companies coming in to offer jobs to the final year students. I wanted to get into core industry so I did not appear for the campus placements. Our training and placement cell was active throughout the year to help students in preparing well for the interviews. A good number of students got placed in IT sectors through the campus interviews.
 

Hostel Rating
This college had a hostel facility only for girls. I was a Mumbaikar so I was fortunate to have a hostel in my college. This avoided all the hassles of renting a flat and cooking for myself. The food quality was good, at least edible unlike other typical hostels. I felt safe win the college hostel as the security was up to the mark.
 

Infrastructure Rating
I was impressed at the college building on the very first day of my course. It is a massive infrastructure including a large playground in the campus area. We had a decent canteen where we could sit and chill over some delicious food. Our workshop rooms were also well-equipped.
 

Campus Rating
As I lived in the campus throughout my engineering, I felt in love with the campus, gradually. Our fests were also celebrated in the campus on a pretty good scale. But not as grand as that of the branch in New Panvel. Our college had a branch there, too. We also celebrated some festivals in our hostel rooms. Overall, I loved my college campus and had a great time with my friends and roommates at the hostel.

  • It’s an average college for engineering!
     

    Overall Rating
    Pillai Engineering College Rasayani is an average college for engineering. The one located in New Panvel holds greater reputation and rankings than this college. The admission process is same for both the colleges. I got into this college in Rasayani because my percentile was pretty much low. I think getting into the Pillai Engineering College New Panvel requires a considerably higher percentile.
