An Emerging IIT : IIT Gandhinagar

Overall Rating
The important thing about this college is having a curriculum. Flexible academic that helps students not to feel pressure. The sports facilities at IIT Gandhinagar are very versatile and diverse. All the sports facilities are available at IIT Gandhinagar.
 

Academics Rating
At IITGN, AI, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering are the streams for B.Tech and M.Tech. To enroll in B.Tech courses, you must crack the JEE Advance exam. For M.Sc you have to crack the IIT-JAM exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are well qualified and passed out from foreign universities. They are unique and quite emerged with experimental learning. They do provide lectures, and for problem-solving, they provide tutorials. If you want to discuss anything with the faculty, they provide you with a flexible time slot.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have an active placement cell. And they help students acquire jobs in the industry. You can see in the numbers also that in placement rate CSE and EE students have 100%, ME and CL having around 90% placement rate with average 20 LPA packages.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have hostel facilities in our institute. Hostel facilities at IIT Gandhinagar (IITGN) are designed to provide students with a comfortable environment to live.
 

Infrastructure Rating
IITGN offers modern facilities that provide a conducive environment for academics and other activities. We have 11 multistory academic blocks. The academic blocks house classrooms, laboratories, and faculty offices. The buildings are well-equipped with facilities to support various academic disciplines, including engineering, sciences, humanities, and management. We have a spacious and well-stocked library.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is so amazing here. Our cultural fest is Blithchrone, which provides full entertainment, makes students forget all stress for 2-3 days, and makes them feel fresh. Our annual Tec-summit is Amaltheia, which makes the students feel the technology. Then we are having our yearly sports fest. Hallabol, where students make their team and compete in some modified games like gully cricket, foot volley, seven-stones, etc. We have many clubs for sports, singing, band, hobby and other activities.

    IIT Gandhinagar is a new IIT which is rapidly growing and what attracted me the most was the modern campus and all the amenities provided in the campus.     The overall experience at IIT Gandhinagar is very nice and good. I was allotted this institute based on my JEE Advances rank through JoSAA counseling. I took admission in the Computer science & Engineering program as I was interested in it. We get to learn the real-world applications of CSE and not only the theoretical knowledge.
