Review of kalasalingam (Deemed University)

Overall Rating
My overall experience at this institute was not bad. This university brokers had came to my college for registrations when am in my intermediate 2nd year. After their presentation about this university attracts me so I have registered by paying the fee required after 3 months they called me to join in university. The main thing is there were all telugu people only there I came here to improve communication skills by speaking with other state people but the scene is different here.
 

Academics Rating
You just need to register by paying some fee, fill and submit the application form to authorities and need to pay an equivalent fee of 35K while joining the university after that we can pay the fee term wise. Outside hostels are far from the university so it is better to join the university hostel provided by them. Course I have chosen is Computer Science and Technology in Bachelor of Technology.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members teaching my course are average because some faculty are very strict towards academics where as some are very lenient and won't even think about students weather they are listening or not they just come for salary. Of course most of the faculty holds doctorate in their research work. As I said their style of teaching differ by faculty to faculty.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell at university and it really helps the students acquire jobs in industry. The placement guidance team trains the students well and makes them ready to face the interviews by allowing them to perform certain tasks required for placements. Internships are mostly provided by college itself.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, university has a hostel which was well and good because hostel was facilitated with free Wi-Fi, hot water for bath, cool drinking water, hygienic and good quality food. Sports grounds and equipment are also available in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus academic blocks are filled with faculty and students as they had taken the intake of students for different branches and departments more as compared to last year. The infrastructure is average. There are air conditioned classrooms in the campus. The management and faculty of the university are trying their best to improve the facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very cool as it is surrounded with mountains and forest. We had an opportunity to explore tribal villages as an outdoor activity and all the famous touristic spots are near to the university that makes it very comfortable to travel and visit them. Fests are regularly organised in the campus as there are many cultural clubs present in university.

    I choose B.Tech computer science and engineering at Kalasalingam University, Madurai, and Tamilnadu. I have chosen this campus because of good reputation of college. Pleasant nature located nearby by hills good nature. This university has good nirf ranking and has NAAC grade A++. Kalasalingam University is good at academics. There is 100% placement.     I joined Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education college in the Year 2021. I chosen AIML Stream in CSE in BTech. The College seems to be good in infrastructure and placement category. But in terms of celebrations, the College is worse compared to other colleges. Many people in our College are from AP and Tamil Nadu.... Read Full Review

    Basically I joined this college based on some reasons they are main thing is fee, which is lower compared to other big universities like Satyabhama and VIT, and based on my rank and marks I got the 25% of scholarship here. Which made my college fee 93k per year and I got some hometown and intermediate friends here so I joined this college.... Read Full Review
